⚡️ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has issued a report «The Human Rights Situation in Ukraine». The situation in this country seriously deteriorated in 2022.
This is confirmed by the many cases on record of grave human rights violations in all spheres of public life, as well as the unwillingness to take action to improve the situation on the part of those who call themselves the country's leaders.
A number of researchers have rightly noted that the Kiev regime underwent a political mutation in 2022. The environment that it created in the wake of the martial law allowed it to build an authoritarian rule in that country which can be described as:
• an absolute monopoly on power,
• out-of-court reprisals,
• tough censorship,
• liquidation of almost all independent media and the destruction of political opposition,
• total state propaganda,
• an active search for traitors and fictional Russian spies and saboteurs.
Having adopted the ideology and practices of the Ukrainian national radicals, the current regime has, in fact, degenerated into a neo-Nazi dictatorship.
👉 The rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the Russian-speaking people and representatives of ethnic minorities, of whom there are many among the IDPs, have been restricted.
👉 Kiev’s campaign against the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church has reached a new level in terms of cynicism and hypocrisy.
👉 Numerous violations of citizens' rights to a fair trial continue to occur, especially in criminal cases related to the conflict in Donbass.
👉 With the tacit permission of the Kiev authorities, right-wing radical combat units use civilians as a human shield.
👉 Russian servicemen that have been taken hostage are being held in terrible conditions and subjected to torture and other forms of inhuman and cruel treatment.
❗️The Ukrainian authorities discarded the very thought of bringing perpetrators of these grave crimes to justice.

We took notice of another attack of hysteria in the U.S. media on allegedly unlawful detention of The Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who is suspected of espionage, after Moscow City Court refused to change the preventive measure for him.
👉Hiding behind the principles of freedom of speech, the American press is brazenly trying to interfere with the Russian justice as well as to question its independence. We stress the irresponsible behavior of The Wall Street Journal editorial board, who called for expulsion of all our journalists working in the United States.
❗️The biased media should slow down and take a sober look at the situation. The American citizen is accused of committing acts against security of the Russian Federation after being caught red-handed.
Any attempts to portray Evan Gershkovich as an innocent victim and interpret his subversive activities as journalistic duty are outright manipulation. By the way, the U.S. media outlets are notorious for this practice which they use in the interests of Washington ruling circles.
We urge the American media to stop unjustified accusations of crackdown against free press in Russia. Instead, they should assess objectively the state of freedom of speech at home.
☝️Even NGO Reporters Without Borders, which can be hardly suspected of sympathy for our country, cites violations of the rights of journalists in the United States, as well as absence of security guarantees to them. Maybe, instead of examining the situation in Russia under a microscope the observers should pay attention to cases of unlawful detentions of correspondents by police and damage to their equipment reported by the aforementioned organization?
The anti-Russia campaign for support of Evan Gershkovich makes us paraphrase a famous Russian proverb – Washington sees a speck of sawdust in other's eye, but doesn’t notice a plank in its own.

The prize will be awarded for outstanding activities aimed at promoting universal and equal security based on the priority of international law, preventing a nuclear disaster, and building a multipolar world, and for other activities aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and trust, as well as international peace and cooperation.
Candidates can be nominated by:
• interparliamentary and other international organisations,
• parliaments,
• governments and other bodies of power,

• members of the jury of the prize.

Three years into the US Covid-19 vaccination rollout, just three of more than 8,000 people who have sued the federal government over injuries they believe the vaccine caused have won any payout, according to recently-published data from the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) cited by Reuters on Tuesday.
Two of the patients developed myocarditis and a third had an anaphylactic reaction from the shot, according to the data - all potentially life-threatening conditions for which they received a total of less than $5,000 from the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), a “no-fault” government tribunal.
Restricted to unreimbursed medical expenses and just $50,000 per year in lost wages, the CICP’s payouts don’t include pain and suffering, punitive damages, or even the attorneys’ fees that usually come with medical lawsuits. A death benefit of $422,035 may be available, but won't help injured plaintiffs who need help living.

🇧🇷 In Brazil the Minister was received by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, met with Chief Advisor of the Presidency Celso Amorim, held talks with Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.
The Foreign Minister gave a lecture at Rio Branco Institute, Brazil’s diplomatic academy.
During the talks at the Brazilian Foreign Ministry, the Parties gave a detailed analysis of joint efforts to strengthen the #RussiaBrazil strategic partnership.
🇻🇪 In Venezuela the Russian Foreign Minister was received by President Nicolas Maduro and held detailed talks with Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez and Minister of Foreign Affairs Yvan Gil.
