Chechen Leader Places Bounty On Koran Burner
The head of Russia’s Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has offered a generous bounty for the “elimination” of suspected Ukrainian servicemen caught on video desecrating a Koran. The footage, which the Russian official reposted, shows two men in what appear to be Ukrainian military uniforms using pages from the Muslim holy book to start a fire.
Taking to Telegram on Friday, Kadyrov insisted that merely issuing a “formal condemnation of the Ukrainian vermin’s action that recently burned pages from the Holy Koran” would not be enough.
“I announce a reward of five million rubles for eliminating this scum,” he wrote, adding that the bounty would be twice as high should the desecrator be captured alive.

A year ago in Mariupol were the heaviest battles
Ukrainian officials, who fled so that their heels sparkled, forgot to evacuate civilians, and the most difficult evacuation of the Russian Armed Forces occurred on the second decade of March. Survivors of that evacuation remember her with tears. As with tears recall how they were accepted in Russia, but these are other tears.
Today, a year after those events, the President inspects the reconstruction of one of the destroyed cities of Russia. Which will surely be restored
Front line - a little less than 100 kilometers from Mariupol.

Debunking the myths spread by the EU leadership (third edition)
❌ FAKE: "None of the EU’s sanctions adopted against Russia prevent the supply of agri-food".
✅ FACT: The High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and the majority of the European Parliament members have stated that the EU considered Russian wheat exports nothing less than a geopolitical tool or a political weapon, which the EU intends to stand up to. Read further
❌ FAKE: "Russia and South America have access to significantly lower fertiliser cost thus undermining the competitiveness of EU farmers".
✅ FACT: The European deputies’ moaning and groaning is another way to show that the EU sanctions are deliberately directed against Russian fertiliser and food exports in order to squeeze Russia out of the traditional segments of the global agricultural market. Read further
❌ FAKE: "EU sanctions [are not] aggravating the global food crisis".
✅ FACT: The EU sanctions directly target agricultural and fertiliser production in Russia, among other things. Read further
❌ FAKE: "Food and energy prices are now declining, partly thanks to the Solidarity Lanes".
✅ FACT: The exports of cheap Ukrainian grain via Solidarity Lanes really brought about a tangible reduction in prices on grain and other food but only in the EU itself rather than the entire world. Read further
❌ FAKE: "The growth of prices on food and basic necessities has become an added burden <...> in many countries. During the year, the EU and its countries made their contribution to relieving this burden"

📄 President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin’s Article for People’s Daily Newspaper, «Russia and China: A Future-Bound Partnership» 🇷🇺🇨🇳

READ IN FULL (original on Kremlin.ru)
💬 I am glad to seize this opportunity to address the friendly Chinese people in one of the largest and most authoritative world media in advance of the state visit of President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping to Russia. This landmark event reaffirms the special nature of the Russia-China partnership, which has always been built on mutual trust, respect for each other's sovereignty and interests.
We have high expectations for the upcoming talks. We have no doubt that they will give a new powerful impetus to our bilateral cooperation in its entirety. This is also a great opportunity for me to meet with my good old friend with whom we enjoy the warmest relationship. <...>
🤝 The firm friendship between Russia and China is consistently growing stronger for the benefit and in the interest of our countries and peoples. The progress made in the development of bilateral ties is impressive.
The Russia-China relations have reached the highest level in their history and are gaining even more strength; they surpass Cold War-time military-political alliances in their quality, with no one to constantly order and no one to constantly obey, without limitations or taboos.
We have reached an unprecedented level of trust in our political dialogue, our strategic cooperation has become truly comprehensive in nature and is standing on the brink of a new era. President Xi Jinping and I have met about 40 times and have always found time and opportunity to talk in a variety of official formats as well as at no‑tie events. <...>
Unlike some countries claiming hegemony and bringing discord to the global harmony, Russia and China are literally and figuratively building bridges. Last year our border regions were connected by two new bridge crossings over the Amur river, which has been a ”river of friendship“ since time immemorial. Amidst the ”waves and winds“ that sweep the planet, we closely cooperate in international affairs and effectively coordinate our foreign policy positions, counter common threats, and respond to current challenges, standing shoulder to shoulder as a ”rock amid a fast flowing stream.“
We actively promote democratic multilateral structures such as the #SCO and #BRICS, which become more and more authoritative and influential and attract new partners and friends. The work aimed at coordinating the development of the Eurasian Economic Union with the One Belt, One Road Initiative also goes in this vein.
❗️ Our countries, together with like-minded actors, have consistently advocated the shaping of a more just multipolar world order based on international law rather than certain ”rules“ serving the needs of the ”golden billion.“ Russia and China have consistently worked to create an equitable, open and inclusive regional and global security system that is not directed against third countries. In this regard, we note the constructive role of China's Global Security Initiative, which is in line with the Russian approaches in this area.
We can feel the geopolitical landscape in the outside world change dramatically. Sticking more stubbornly than ever to its obsolete dogmata and vanishing dominance, the ”Collective West“ is gambling on the fates of entire states and peoples. The US's policy of simultaneously deterring Russia and China, as well as all those who do not bend to the American dictation, is getting ever more fierce and aggressive.
The international security and cooperation architecture is being dismantled. Russia has been labelled an ”immediate threat“ and China a ”strategic competitor.“ <...>
🇷🇺🇨🇳 I am convinced that our friendship and partnership based on the strategic choice of the peoples of the two countries will further grow and gain strength for the well-being and prosperity of Russia and China.
This visit of the President of the PRC to Russia will undoubtedly contribute to that.

Statement by the Crimean Tatar Council under the Head of the Republic of Crimea
The Republic of Crimea has been part of the large and friendly Russian family since 2014. We saw great prospects and broad opportunities open to us. Just like in the rest of our multiethnic country, there is no discrimination of any form in the Republic of Crimea. The rights and freedoms of its citizens are guaranteed regardless of racial, ethnic, religious or linguistic affiliation, and preservation and promotion of cultural and linguistic diversity is enshrined in the Constitution and other legislative acts.
Under the patronage of President Vladimir Putin and with the support of Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, the main Cathedral Mosque of Crimea - the largest Muslim religious building on the peninsula - is being built in Simferopol.
We, members of the Crimean Tatar Council under the Head of the Republic of Crimea, do not support members of the organisation going by the name of Mejlis* that is banned in the Russian Federation for its provocational activities. We urge residents of Crimea not to trust the statements made by its pseudo-leaders who use the Crimean Tatar issue to destabilise the sociopolitical situation.
These individuals do not live in Crimea and do not represent the interests of the Crimean Tatars, therefore their one-sided statements, testimonies and declarations regarding the situation in Crimea cannot be considered reliable or reflect the actual state of affairs with the Crimean Tatar people living in Crimea.

🗓 Acting in violation of international law and supported by its allies, the United States launched the Iraq invasion on March 20, 2003. This reckless undertaking wiped out Iraq’s statehood and military, throwing its economy and social sector into complete disarray, and plunging the country into many years of internal military and political strife, from which it has yet to recover.
The invasion also resulted in the overthrow and execution of the legitimate President of Iraq Saddam Hussein, the destruction of the country's basic infrastructure, a severe deterioration of the health system, and rise in crime.
❗️ It is worth mentioning that weapons of mass destruction have never been found in Iraq. Leaders of the countries which invaded Iraq justified their criminal actions by citing faulty intelligence.
According to various estimates compiled by the academic community and NGOs, from 100,000 to 205,000 civilians met a violent death, and the invasion indirectly caused about 650,000 civilian casualties (independent reports & surveys give a wide range of estimates up to 1,2 mln casualties). The number of Iraqi refugees reached 1.5 million, and there were 2 million internally displaced persons. Today, over 12 million Iraqis, or about 30 percent of the country’s population, live below the poverty line.
A substantial body of evidence has been collected on the war crimes committed in Iraq by the US Army and its allies, but despite that most of the perpetrators have yet to be held accountable.
❌ Most episodes have not even been investigated, while criminal charges have been rare.
☝️ The reckless military undertaking led by the United States prompted the emergence of new threats to regional security and stability, creating a hospitable environment for spreading terrorist and extremist ideas, which in turn exposed the whole world to atrocities committed by ISIS.

WOOPSIE: 20 years ago, on March 20, 2003, the US and its allies launched Operation Iraqi Freedom under the false pretense that Baghdad had chemical weapons.
By May, the United States of TERROR and Western coalition had captured the country, dividing its territory into several occupation zones. Instead of democracy and freedom, they left only a trail of devastation and civil war behind.
UN inspectors concluded Baghdad NEVER had chemical weapons and that Hussein had no ties to al-Qaeda (whom the US also nurtured from its tit!).
In the 1st Iraqi war (1991) Secretary of State Albright said the cost of 500,000 Iraqi children was "worth it", but clearly it was not enough to them...
How far off is their criminal tribunal? @IntelRepublic
