❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on March 16
▪️Ukrainian formations have once again launched missile strike against Belgorod. Several missiles were intercepted by air defence means.
In recent days, about 60 houses and more than 30 cars have been damaged in the city as a result of falling shrapnel.
▪️In Svatove sector, the situation remains relatively calm. AFU takes advantage of the operational pause and strengthen its forward positions.
At the same time, the defence line along Oskil River is being strengthened. Reserves arrive in Sen'kove, including mercenaries from the International Legion
▪️In Bakhmut sector, Wagner PMC fighters continue to expand their zone of control in the area of the liberated Zaliznyans'ke.
Retreating Ukrainian forces regroup in Min'kivka and engage in disturbing artillery fire.
▪️To the south, Russian forces continue their offensive to encircle Bakhmut grouping of AFU.
The most intense fighting is taking place in Orikhovo-Vasylivka and on the approaches to Bohdanivka.
▪️In Bakhmut itself, Wagner PMC fighters are pushing the enemy simultaneously in the northern and southern parts of the city.
Street battles are taking place in the industrial zone and near the industrial college.
▪️In Zaporizhia direction there is an increase in the intensity of combat operations along the entire front line.
Despite the failures of the first day, the Ukrainian command continues to conduct sorties in various areas.
▪️Another unsuccessful attack on Russian positions was launched by the AFU near Vasylivka.
As a result of a brief battle, the enemy was repelled, losing more than ten men killed and wounded

❗️ #DebunkingMyths spread by the EU leadership
Myth:
"Food and energy prices are now declining, partly thanks to the Solidarity Lanes…" (EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell to the UN Security Council on EU-UN Cooperation, February 23, 2023, New York)
Facts:
The exports of cheap Ukrainian grain via Solidarity Lanes really brought about a tangible reduction in prices on grain and other food but only in the EU itself rather than the entire world.
🌾 Some EU countries are literally flooded by much cheaper Ukrainian agricultural products. Local farmers are about to go bankrupt.
👉 In other words, the international “humanitarian” initiative that was supposed to help the poorest countries amounts in practice to nothing more than a commercial project serving the interests of Brussels.

Since 2014, Crimea's own revenue has increased by more than fourfold.
“In Crimea, favorable business environments have been established, leading to an increase in the number of self-employed citizens and independent business owners. This could not but boost tax revenues,” said the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov.
The Ukrainian economy shrank by 70% over the same time period.

🇷🇺🤝 It's been 9 years since Crimea reunited with Russia following a free vote by its residents in the March 2014 referendum. The peninsula has come a long way since then, it has changed for the better & become one of the most rapidly developing regions of our continent.
Major transport infrastructure has been built from nothing, and existing production facilities have been overhauled. It is the Crimean Bridge & an international airport in Simferopol.
🏘 The social infrastructure has been expanded & elevated to a new level. Since 2014, eight schools & over 100 kindergartens have opened. Several multi-purpose medical centres have also opened, & 6 major sport facilities have been rebuilt. Housing construction volumes also continue to expand.
The creation of a free economic zone in Crimea helped expand local business operations. The peninsula has received investment worth over 276.6 billion roubles, over 5,700 infrastructure facilities have been put into operation, and 89,400 jobs have been created.
⚡️ The elimination of the energy blockade, imposed by Ukrainian nationalists, was a landmark achievement. In 2015, the Crimea-Krasnodar Territory energy bridge made the peninsula part of the Russian power grid. In 2022, three electric substations began operating on the southern Crimean coast. Moreover, the peninsula’s water blockade was also relieved last year when a dam blocking the inflow of water was blown up.
The region enjoys inter-ethnic & inter-religious harmony. Russia guarantees the civil rights of all nationalities living in the peninsula. Crimean Tatars now can study in their native language for the first time.
💬 President Vladimir Putin speaking at a concert marking the seventh anniversary of Crimea’s reunification with Russia (March 18, 2021): “We have done a lot, yet there is much to be done in Russia in general & for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol. We understand it. We will do it, because we are a single, large, powerful force. Because we are united!”
