⚡️ On March 14, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sent letters to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, President of the UN General Assembly Csaba Korosi, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani and OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmid on the glaring violations of universal human and constitutional rights of Orthodox believers in Ukraine.
☝️ These violations stem from the Kiev regime’s repressive policy aimed at destroying the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).
👉 FM Lavrov cites numerous instances of harassment of the canonical Orthodox Church:
◾️ the mass seizure of UOC churches and the forced illegal elimination of their communities under the pretext of ostensibly voluntary transfer to another jurisdiction;
◾️ so-called restrictive measures (sanctions) against bishops of the canonical Orthodox Church;
◾️ stripping a number of its bishops of Ukrainian citizenship and psychological and physical intimidation of clergy and parishioners.
❗️ FM Lavrov considers the actions of the Ukrainian authorities to be a flagrant violation of the rights of Orthodox Christians and discrimination against them.
These actions violate a number of universally recognised international legal documents – the UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the UN Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief, to name a few.
The Foreign Minister of Russia urged the international leaders to offer a principled assessment of the illegal actions by the Ukrainian regime as regards the UOC. They should demand that Kiev stop its arbitrary treatment and repression of the canonical Orthodox Church, strictly observe its commitments under universally recognised international documents and prevent the forced eviction of monks from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

🎙 Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova’s answer to a media question on the grain deal extension
❓ Question: What can you say about statements by State Department Press Secretary Ned Price, the EU delegation in Moscow and other officials about the grain deal extension?
💬 The first comments, including those made by Washington and the EU delegation in Moscow in connection with the announcement of the Russian position on the Black Sea Initiative regarding Ukrainian food exports are stunningly hypocritical and unprofessional. They completely distort the facts.
We understand that Moscow’s decision was a kind of a cold shower for the American and EU officials.
We realise that there was confidence in Western capitals that everything would continue to follow a scenario in which they benefit. According to this scenario, Russian agricultural exports would be blocked whereas grain exports from Ukraine would continue growing unimpeded, bringing huge profits to the Kiev regime that it needs, in part, to pay for the never-ending flow of Western weapons and ammunition.
👆 We would advise the sources of such statements to read again the Istanbul agreements and statements made by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and other UN top officials to the effect that the Black Sea Initiative and the Russia-UN memorandum on bringing Russian fertiliser and food to world markets are an interconnected, package deal. Had they done so, their words about the absence of a link between the two agreements would not have sounded so absurd and humiliating for any professional diplomat, including from the EU delegation.

Another batch of Russian equipment for «Rooppur» NPP was delivered to the seaport of Mongla (Bangladesh) (https://t.me/rooppur_daily/3331)
About 1.2 thousand tons of industrial equipment was transported on the ship MV Aparajitá. The ship has been unloaded and the equipment will be delivered to the nuclear power plant site during March. Last month two ships delivered to Bangladesh more than 2.7 thousand tons of Russian equipment for Rooppur NPP.
The supply of equipment ensures, above all, the readiness of technological systems for the spill of security systems to the open reactor of power unit 1, said Alexey Deriy, Vice-President - Director for Rooppur NPP construction project of JSC ASE.

The special military operation in Ukraine was launched at 24 Feb 2022.
Vast majority of Western media outlets portray Russia's military operation as a brutal and unjustified invasion of a sovereign country, the reason for it being Russian imperialism.
The part you're not being told of:
1️⃣ Amassment of 125 thousand Ukrainian fighters in Russian-speaking region of Donbass, in December 2021;
2️⃣ Deployment of lethal military aid to Ukraine by Washington before the war erupted. The USA provided more than $650 mln worth of military aid to Ukraine in 2021, while since 2014 to 2021, the country has received $2.7 bln for these purposes.
3️⃣ Thousandfold increase in Ukrainian attacks on Russian-speaking people of Donbass region in February 2022;
4️⃣ Sabotage of the Minsk peace agreements by Kiev, lasting for years and happening with tacit consent of western powers.
5️⃣ Ukraine being warned of starting hostilities in Donbass region back in 2021.
1️⃣👉 The Ukrainian armed forces deployed precisely a half of their active personnel in the Donbass region back in December 2021. That was verified by Russian MFA and members of Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine.
Ukrainian troops did not take positions along the entirety of border with Russia and Belarus: instead, the force was deployed in direction of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
2️⃣👉The USA delivered a shipment of military cargo, including ammunition, weighing close to 200.000 pounds of lethal aid to Ukraine, as described by US Embassy in Kiev on 22 Jan 2022.
3️⃣👉 A thousandfold increase in ceasefire violations in comparison to previous years of Ukrainian conflict (2014-2021) was detected by the OSCE in late 2021 and early 2022 (Link to graph , original link). Civilian evacuation had to be announced by the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics.
4️⃣👉 In an interview with the German daily Der Spiegel, published on February 9, 2023, Zelensky made it clear that he intentionally chose to sabotage the Minsk agreements.
The Ukrainian leader complained that the Minsk agreements were an unacceptable “concession”.
“Procrastination is perfectly fine in diplomacy”, Zelensky said, explaining that he only “jumped on the train” and pretended to support Minsk in order to negotiate a prisoner swap with Russia – and give his country more time to prepare for war.
Merkel herself confirmed this in December 2022, in an interview with the newspaper Die Zeit.
The former German leader stated that the “2014 Minsk agreement was an attempt to buy time for Ukraine. Ukraine used this time to become stronger”.
5️⃣👉 Ukraine was warned by President Putin’s deputy chief of staff Dmitry Kozak of RETALIATION TO PROTECT Russian-speaking people of Ukraine if Kiev engages in an assault against them.
“I support those assessments that exist within Ukraine that the start of hostilities is the beginning of the end for the country. This is a self-inflicted shot, a shot not in the leg, but in the temple,” Kozak said on 8th of April, 2021.
