It unites 30 operating and under-construction research facilities, which allow conducting research in the field of nanotechnology, biology, astronomy, energy and fundamental physics. After commissioning, the MBIR facility will become the most powerful (150 MW) fast research reactor in the world.

Russia Unlikely to Return to Nuclear Deal with US

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday that Moscow was still in contact with Washington on the issue of nuclear weapons, despite withdrawing from the new START treaty last month.

Ryabkov added that the prospects of Russia returning to the deal were slim.

"A hypothetical opportunity to return to this whole subject can arise only when and if Washington reconsiders its destructive escalation course towards the Russian Federation, which in every aspect is unacceptable and destructive for what you might call the remnants of our relations between Moscow and Washington," Ryabkov was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

The US authorities contradict themselves in their statements regarding the work of US biological laboratories in Ukraine, the ministry says.

In his statement of 31 January 2023, U.S. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby confirmed the presence of US biolaboratories in Ukraine, while indicating that they had been abandoned by personnel and ‘...deactivated...’ before the special military operation was launched.

However, there are documents with reports on the continuation of the DTRA biological program in Ukraine and outlines the main objectives for the current period. These include further consolidation of collections of dangerous pathogens, as well as deployment of biorisk management and epidemiological monitoring systems.

Thus, under the pretext of reducing the risks of spreading infectious diseases, the Kiev regime continues to cooperate with the Pentagon in the military-biological sphere, including the transfer of pathogenic biomaterials.

▪️Ukrainian formations continue shelling settlements in Belgorod Region.

Yasniye Zori came under attack. Hangar of an agricultural enterprise was damaged, one man was wounded.

▪️In Bryansk region, several enemy artillery strikes hit Belevitsa in Pogarsky district.
