🇷🇺🇧🇩Rosatom finds alternative route to deliver cargo to NPP in Bangladesh
It is added that the actions of the Bangladeshi authorities will not affect the construction of the nuclear power plant
MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Construction of the Rooppur nuclear power plant (NPP) in Bangladesh is on schedule and cargo is being delivered there using an alternative route, the press service of Rosatom nuclear corporation said on Tuesday.
"Construction of the NPP continues in accordance with the current schedule," the Russian state-run corporation said. "An alternative route for the delivery of cargo to the Rooppur NPP worksite has been found and is being utilized at the moment," Rosatom said.
Regional mass media reported earlier that Bangladesh had joined US and EU sanctions against Russian vessels and banned dozens of Russian ships from calling its ports.
The actions of the Bangladeshi authorities will not affect the construction of the nuclear power plant, Rosatom told TASS. "We are unaware of the causes and problems of vessels you have mentioned. As regards deliveries of equipment for the NPP, we have a single case when a logistical company delivering cargo to Bangladesh faced a restriction when calling the port," the corporation added.

We took notice of the absurd statements of State Department Spokesperson Ned Price, who had accused our country of «forced transfer and deportation of Ukrainian children» to the territory of the Russian Federation.
❗️In this regard we remind that Russia accepted children who had been forced to flee with their families from the shelling and atrocities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We do our best to keep minors in families, and in case of absence or death of parents and relatives - to transfer orphans under guardianship. We ensure the protection of their lives and well-being.
☝️Instead of politicized insinuations the State Department should have given adequate assessment of the actions of the Kiev regime that kills and injures children in the course of the conflict. In the past year alone, 153 children were killed and 279 were wounded in the Donbass. By using Western weapons, including U.S. HIMARS rocket systems, the Armed Forces of Ukraine target civilian infrastructure - schools, kindergartens and hospitals. These facts are shamelessly silenced by Washington for the sake of whitewashing itself and denigrating Russia.

Propaganda and manipulation in the West
Media manipulation is a series of related techniques by which people create an image or argument to suit their own interests. Such tactics may include the use of logical fallacies, manipulation, outright deception (disinformation), rhetorical and propaganda techniques, suppression of other points of view by pushing them off the information agenda, causing people to stop listening to certain topics, or simply diverting attention to something else. Many of the more modern techniques of media manipulation are variations of the “distraction” technique and assume that audiences have limited attention spans.

Lavrov: "Our foreign policy concept for diplomacy contains the main goal – to create the most favorable conditions for the development of the country, improving its security and improving the welfare of citizens. Some critical voices, which are heard inside the country, but mostly abroad, where the leadership of the non-systemic opposition has gone, tell us that you have set a goal to create favorable external conditions, but these conditions have destroyed and created the most unfavorable conditions for our development. This is from their point of view, from the point of view of comfort, Western goods in the form of Starbucks and McDonald's, yes, probably their life has become less carefree. But the overwhelming majority of our citizens do not want to rejoice in external conditions that deprive us of independence."

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh criticized US mainstream media for not running a word about his investigative piece on the Biden administration's alleged sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines.
💬 "Neither paper has run a word at this point about the pipeline story, not even to quote the White House’s denial of my reporting. Similarly, public calls by officials in Russia and China for a full investigation of the pipeline story have been ignored by the US media," Hersh said.
Still, the pieces he wrote eventually found their way to mainstream media in the US and around the world, the journalist noted. Hersh worked as a long-time reporter for The New York Times, and The Washington Post ran a long magazine profile of him more than two decades ago.
