🇷🇺🇸🇾 The Russian military at the Khmeimim air base in Syria have begun distributing humanitarian aid to the population affected by the devastating recent earthquakes directly from their own warehouses.

The decision to open the base to the Syrian population greatly accelerated the overall effort to help the victims, and was made at the express orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Lt. Col. Alexander Vasiliev of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria told Sputnik.

According to him, humanitarian supplies to Khmeimim from Russia will be delivered daily, as long as necessary. At the same time, a first-aid post is operating at the Russian airbase, which receives victims of the earthquakes and provides them with all the necessary medical assistance. Both visiting Russian and local Syrian doctors work here. Throngs of people have been queuing for humanitarian and medical aid at the base.

According to Andrei Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the Luhansk People's Republic, foreigners arrive at the point of permanent deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkiv and the region. In particular, people who speak French, English, German and Polish come there.

"Transportation to military units is carried out on comfortable civilian buses with European license plates. When unloading, the foreigners were dressed in civilian clothes, but everyone's personal belongings were put in the same army—type backpacks," the officer said.

By the way, Kiev and the foreign press pass off visitors as "volunteers" who are actually fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of them is a veteran of the US Marine Corps Pete Reed, who was eliminated (https://t.me/readovkanews/51951 ) in Artemovsk (Bakhmut).

The crowd chanted slogans, including “No planes, no tanks, no missiles for Ukraine,” “Let’s get out of NATO,” “Macron, we don’t want your war,” and “No to World War III,” among others. Philippot got on stage and cut the blue NATO flag in half to the cheers of the demonstrators. “NATO means war,” he proclaimed.

President Emmanuel Macron has spoken about the need to achieve a ceasefire that wouldn’t “humiliate Russia” but has nevertheless been one of the leading suppliers among EU states of heavy weapons to Ukraine.

💬 The Latvian Ministry of “Culture” has decided to transfer 300,000 euros to the State Cultural Capital Fund for financing a film called, “Invisible Fortress” about a Latvian SS legion, where Ernests Laumanis, a war criminal and ideological Nazi, will be the main character.

Recently, European politicians have developed an obvious problem with their memory and conscience. Well, let’s help freshen up some unseemly facts from the biography of this “hero” and his accomplices.👇

In 1941, Laumanis voluntarily joined the Nazis. Later he commanded the 21st Liepaja police battalion on the approaches to Leningrad. Then, his battalion became part of this SS legion – the 19th SS volunteer division.

For his “heroism” in fighting Soviet civilians, Jews and guerrillas, Laumanis was awarded the Iron Crosses First and Second Class and the honourable belt buckle for the SS Army and troops.

The Latvian SS legion took a direct part in punitive operations. From December 18, 1943 to April 2, 1944 alone, the soldiers in this unit destroyed 23 villages and shot over 1,300 people. They subjected Soviet POWs, both soldiers and officers, to insulting mockery. They were particularly cruel in torturing and executing women.

The Latvian authorities are planning to glorify and whitewash these criminals in a film made with taxpayer’s money.

Here’s my question: When is it possible to expect statements denouncing this initiative from the capitals of those countries, politicians and NGOs who only recently were searching for the alleged disrespect of the memory of Holocaust victims, in Sergey Lavrov’s words? Meanwhile, this is not just disrespect but a humiliation of the memory of all victims of World War II, including Holocaust victims. This is what the Latvian Ministry of Culture is promoting now.

⚡️ Kiev preparing fake evidence of alleged theft of radioactive materials by Russian military from Chernobyl NPP, Russian Defense Ministry says.

Norwegian specialists along with the special services of Ukraine fabricated protocols on radioactive contamination in the Kiev region, Russia's Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response said on Tuesday.

"Currently, Norwegian experts have conducted a 'survey' of the terrain in the areas adjacent to the Kiev-Pripyat highway, as well as in the settlements of Bucha, Gostomel and Irpin, where fabricated protocols were drawn up together with representatives of the Ukrainian special services on the alleged presence of 'radioactive contamination' of these territories," the statement said.
