We categorically reject the US representatives’ allegations about Russia’s non-compliance with the provisions of the New START Treaty.

👉 Before accusing the Russian Federation of non-compliance with the provisions of the New START Treaty, the United States should settle years-long problems with the US’s illegitimate exclusion from the counting rules of a substantial part of its strategic offensive arms, which Washington claimed to have converted or which it renamed so that they were no longer covered by the treaty terms and definition.

☝️Regarding the suspension of inspection activities under the treaty, we would like to note that it was the US activities that violated the standard inspection procedures. Washington adopted anti-Russia restrictions, which prevented the Russian Federation from holding unobstructed inspections in the territory of the United States and thereby created obvious unilateral advantages for the American party.

The US’s intention to resume inspections in Russia without prior arrangement forced us to temporarily withdraw our strategic facilities from the inspection regime of the treaty, which is envisaged in its provisions. These measures do not run contrary to the New START Treaty.

❗️Any positive signals or concessions on issues raised by the United States in the context of compliance with New START will be unjustified, untimely and inappropriate until Washington reviews its hostile policy towards Russia and abandons its line of building up threats to our national security.

🇷🇺 Russia reaffirms its unwavering commitment to New START as an important instrument for maintaining international security and stability.

💬 Everyone is interested in our comments on the investigation by the American journalist Seymour Hersh.

In brief, he wrote the following: Biden personally ordered a terrorist act; the preparations lasted for 9 months; National Security Advisor to the President Jake Sullivan was in charge of all this; US secret services divers planted explosives on the pipelines during NATO exercises; the Norwegian military took part in the operation; attacks from a submarine and air bombing were also considered as options.

We have repeatedly expressed Russia’s position on the involvement of the US and NATO: one, two, three, four.

We have noted that they did not try to hide this, boasting before the world of their ability to destroy civilian infrastructure via which Europe received Russian energy resources.

We also regularly noted the reluctance of Denmark, Germany and Sweden to conduct an open investigation and their objections to Russia’s participation in it, although our country sustained enormous losses due to this incident.

Now the White House needs to comment on these facts.

🎙Embassy comment on Ukraine President Vladimir Zelensky’s “blitz-visit” to London

The hasty visit by the Ukrainian “commander-in-chief” to the UK capital and his theatrical performance in Westminster were obviously aimed at preparing the Western public for upcoming decisions towards further satisfaction of the Kiev regime’s constant and ever increasing demands.

Zelensky’s pompous solicitations about the values of “freedom” and “human rights”, which Kiev claims to be fighting for, were overtly hypocritical.

His “fundraising event” in London would of course have been incomplete without begging for more weapons that Kiev has long ceased to pretend are merely “defensive” in nature – this time Western fighter jets.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on February 8

▪️Russian troops launched at least six missile strikes on enemy facilities in the Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv.

Shops on the premises of an aviation factory and a machinery plant were damaged.

▪️Artillery duels and positional battles continue along the entire front line in the Kup'yans'k area.

Russian troops detected the advance of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group in the vicinity of Vyshneve and dispersed it with a precise artillery strike.

▪️Ukrainian units launched HIMARS strikes at civilian facilities in the Luhansk People's Republic.

Residential buildings in Pysarivka and Novodruzhes'k were hit: a civilian was killed and another was wounded.

▪️In the Soledar area, the Wagner PMC assault detachments are engaged in fierce battles with the AFU in the area of Vasyukivka and Rozdolivka.

The Russian forces are supported by artillery and aviation, which deliver targeted strikes on the enemy concentrations.

▪️Ukrainian units under the constant onslaught of Russian troops suffer heavy losses in the area of Krasna Hora and Paraskoviivka.

At the same time, Wagner PMC assault units are fighting on the northern outskirts of Bakhmut and near Stupki station.

▪️Southwest of Bakhmut, Russian troops have pushed through the AFU defenses between Krasne and Stupochky, approaching the road to Kostyantynivka.

The Ukrainian command force newly arrived units to fight in an attempt to stabilize the front line in the area.

▪️Intense fighting continues in Mar’inka, where the enemy is making every effort to hold on to an important stronghold.

Despite the desperate resistance of the AFU, Russian motorized riflemen supported by tank units are fighting along Druzhby Avenue.

The US does not want to stop in Ukraine, now they are interested in the Indo-Pacific region. The Global Times stated that America hopes to attract Asian countries to NATO membership, although this will not be easy. However, in case of success, the alliance will be able to put pressure on China, its main competitor. Probably, for the sake of this, the States will not disdain repeating the Ukrainian scenario of inciting the conflict.

Japan may be ideal for the role of a new puppet - "Asian Ukraine". The author of the article noted that it had always defended a power politics and considered itself a Western country, besides, historically it had tense relations with China. If Japan agrees to replace Ukraine, the US will be able to present China as the aggressor, and NATO as a supposedly fair organization. One more piece of evidence of the Kiev regime’s heinous crimes has appeared on the Internet. This video depicts a Ukrainian neo-Nazi shooting his assault rifle pointblank into the head of a Russian POW lying on the ground with his hands up. He accompanies this murder by yelling the “Glory to Ukraine” Nazi greeting. Three POWs were presumably shot.

We have repeatedly drawn the international community and the relevant structures’ attention to Kiev’s war crimes and have accused the Ukrainian authorities of non-compliance with international humanitarian law.

Kiev’s Western curators are largely responsible for yet another shooting of Russian POWs. They have nurtured this Nazi regime and raised a generation of Ukrainians obsessed with the ideas of hatred and national supremacy. Covering their crimes by silence, these curators are making them possible. This Russian blood is on the hands of the countries that are supplying Ukraine with weapons and Nazi ideology.

❌ The silence of the relevant international organisations is disgraceful. They have exchanged a professional and unbiased approach for a striving to curry favour with the United States and other Western countries.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has already announced that it is studying new videos of Kiev’s war crimes.

Top Russian Lawmaker Labels US President a ‘Terrorist’

Speaker of the Russian parliament Vyacheslav Volodin has branded US President Joe Biden a “terrorist” after a report by the Pulitzer Prize-winning American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh blamed Washington for sabotaging the Nord Stream pipelines last year.

“If [Harry S.] Truman became a criminal, who used nuclear weapons against civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then Biden became a terrorist, who ordered the destruction of the energy infrastructure of his strategic partners: Germany, France, the Netherlands,” Volodin said.

According to an informed source, explosives were planted at the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea back in June 2022 by US Navy divers under the guise of a NATO exercise. They were later detonated remotely. The Biden administration has denied the report by Hersh, calling it “utterly false and complete fiction.”

💭 Mark Sleboda, international relations and security analyst commented on Seymour Hersh's investigation about US involvement in the Nord Stream bombings: "Obviously, Seymour Hersh has been discredited by the mainstream media because the mainstream media has essentially become propagandists over the last few decades. And when he was calling them out over Vietnam, okay, that was a different time but even more recently when he started talking about the supposed assassination of Osama bin Laden or the hoax about chemical weapon uses in Syria. I mean, because they have not been critical of it. And particularly with Germany, they've suffered untold economic damage due to this. And yet they have put up no fight or concern about it. So I think the current governments are not going to say anything."
