Friendly fire in Dnipropetrovsk: why Ukraine's air defense continues to destroy residential buildings. A breakdown of the reasons from Readovka Explains
Today, some of the largest "retaliatory strikes" were carried out on Ukrainian territory. Once again, the targets of the Russian missile attacks were the infrastructure of a non-independent country. Arrivals were recorded in many oblasts, and an air alert was declared throughout Ukraine. In contrast to the morning strikes on Kiev, the evening salvo was carried out with the already familiar Kalibr and X-101 cruise missiles.
Once again, the Ukrainian air defense system distinguished itself by hitting a residential building in Dnipropetrovsk. The damage to the building was so severe that it is almost certain that there was a secondary detonation (possibly a domestic gas explosion). Neither the air defense missile nor a Russian cruise missile could have caused such fatal damage - a span of the building collapsed.
Official Kiev's silence about the cause of the explosion also suggests that it was a Ukrainian missile that caused the tragedy. Moreover, this is not the first, second, or even third time that Ukraine's air defense has hit its own houses or Polish collective farms. What is the reason for such misses?
They are traditionally several. Firstly, cruise missiles fly at extremely low altitudes, and missile launches from urban areas automatically turn residential buildings into potential targets. A way out would be to create rings of air defenses around cities, but Ukraine lacks the systems to provide such safe protection. Second, it should not be forgotten that the backbone of Ukrainian air defense is still Soviet missile systems with expired missiles, which makes the probability of failure when flying over residential areas very high.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💡 @Rybar: RF Armed Forces Massive Missile strike on Infrastructure Targets in #Ukraine on 14 Jan 2023 - what is known by 18:00⚡️
In the afternoon, the RF Armed Forces launched the first massive missile strike of the new year against targets in #Ukraine. The munitions hit energy and industrial infrastructure facilities in different parts of the country.
Certain reports of explosions in one region or another were the sound of Ukrainian air defences trying to intercept Russian missiles flying across the country. At this point, hits in the following areas of the country are more or less reliably known:
▪️#Kharkov: a total of four strikes hit an energy infrastructure facility and an industrial plant. Two of the hits hit the area around Losevo station, where the KHARTSYZSK PIPE plant is located. The city partially lost power and water supply and the underground was shut down.
▪️#Zaporozhye: missiles landed on one of the industrial enterprises in the city. The hit has been confirmed by the regional administration.
▪️#Odessa: explosions were heard in the residential area of Kotovsky, as well as around #Dachnoye and #Usatovo. Electric transport has been stopped in the city.
▪️#Lvov: local authorities reported hitting an energy infrastructure facility.
▪️#Dnepropetrovsk: explosions, electricity and water completely lost in one district. Communication problems have begun in the city.
▪️#Nikolaev: explosions in the region.
Emergency blackouts have been preventively carried out in #Kiev and #Odessa oblasts. After the first reports of strikes, similar measures were taken in Ivano-Frankovsk, #Zaporozhye and #Zhytomyr regions.
Information has surfaced on the web about a hit on the territory of a railway station in #Kiev. However, it is highly probable that the explosion clouds from the arrival were mistaken for smoke from a steam locomotive, which the local regime uses on the railways amid power shortages.
♦️At the time of the raid in #Dnepropetrovsk, a house in the Salyut housing estate was hit. Exactly what caused it is not yet known: it could have been an intercepted cruise missile that went off course, or it could have been a consequence of Ukrainian air defence work.
The Russian Armed Forces also struck facilities in occupied Kherson. Following the arrivals, there were light problems in the vicinity of the Fregat Hotel in the centre.
As in previous recent massive strikes, Russian forces used decoys to identify Ukrainian air defence positions. This also allowed them to "defuse" enemy SAMs before the cruise missiles arrived.

Ukraine plotting false flag operation to discredit Russia under grain deal – top brass

⚡️ Emergency statement by Joint Coordination Headquarters of Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine
◽️ The Security Service of Ukraine is preparing for a large-scale provocation in the next few days to discredit Russia's activity within the 'grain deal', and to accuse of creating 'shortage of food' in Ukraine.
◽️ In Karaichnoye (Kharkov region), the Ukrainian intelligence service is planting mines in a granary. After its explosion, the Russian Federation will be accused of the allegedly 'intentional elimination of grain stocks in Ukraine', 'sparking starvation', and therefore 'disrupting the grain deal'. Western media will present this incident as 'another atrocity committed by Russian forces' that requires a 'harsh response of the international community'.
◽️ A group of up to 30 Ukrainian professionals in explosives and employees of the Security Service of Ukraine arrived to Volchansk (Kharkov region) for preparing the sabotage.
◽️ The granary is owned by V. Uvarov, a non-staff employee of the Security Service of Ukraine. There are also identification data for A. Tkachuk, the chief of the group, and all of its members as well as their current location: in the military commissariat of Volchansk (Dukhovnaya st., 29).
◽️ In the wake of Ukrainian army's failures, and on the eve of the meeting of the NATO defence ministers in Ramstein (Germany) on 20 January, these resounding provocations are used by Kiev authorities to put more pressure on the opinion of Western countries for achieving large-scale supplies of modern armaments and hardware for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

⚠️ More planted US reports on “events” in Bucha.
👉 Read in full
💬 We consider the article recently published in The New York Times regarding the so-called “Bucha events” an attempt to keep the fabricated version afloat by substantiating the allegations and accusations planted by the Kiev regime back in the spring.
👉 Read in full
It should be stated right away that, despite the big announcement, the video clip featured in the article by The New York Times, footage that was obviously edited, contains NOTHING that can prove any accusations against the Russian military circulated by the West at the instigation of their Ukrainian “clients.”
Apparently, an objective investigation in the West is out of the question: the guilty parties were named immediately and now the propaganda machine hammers together fakes without much care for the credibility of details. We are dealing with quality propaganda built on quite lifelike video footage, subjected, however, to sophisticated manipulation and skilfully commented to trigger an emotional response.
<...>
🤷♂️ The speculations about the causes of death of certain individuals are based on suggestions made by journalists themselves. For example, the footage showing Russian troops firing in an undetermined direction is commented by a voice claiming that the shot killed a person whose body was found exactly within the weapon’s range on the same street. The credibility of sources and data used in the report also raises doubts. Moreover, the release material was previewed by Ukrainian police officers, the Security Service of Ukraine and Bucha Deputy Mayor Mikhaylina Skorik-Shkarovskaya.
❗️ Those initiating this and similar information attacks should realise that sooner or later, they will be held accountable for libel. The patrons and curators of the Ukrainian regime, along with those killing civilians in Donbass and executing unarmed Russian prisoners of war, will be tried at a tribunal in Donetsk and Lugansk. Retribution is inevitable.
