⚡️ Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a ceasefire on Orthodox Christmas Eve and Christmas Day along the front in Ukraine.
💬 "Taking into account of the appeal of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, I instruct the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation to introduce a ceasefire regime along the entire line of contact between the parties in Ukraine from 12:00 pm on January 6 to 24:00 on January 7 of this year," the presidential order, released by the Kremlin's press service, reads. "Given that a large number of citizens practicing the Orthodox faith live in areas where hostilities are taking place, we call on the Ukrainian side to declare a ceasefire, and to allow them the opportunity to attend services on Christmas Eve, as well as the Day of the Nativity of Christ," the order adds.

☝️Всему мировому сообществу, наконец, должно стать очевидным, что США с 2014 года развязали с Россией настоящую «войну по доверенности», поддерживая нацистских преступников в Киеве. Ни о каком «оборонительном характере» передаваемых вооружений уже давно не может быть и речи.
❗️Своими действиями администрация лишь подстегивает украинских радикалов к новым ужасным деяниям. С каждой поставкой ПВН из Соединенных Штатов они чувствуют все большую безнаказанность. С особым цинизмом продолжают убивать мирных жителей Донбасса, Запорожской и Херсонской областей Российской Федерации.

Как верить политикам ведущих западноевропейских государств, если и когда настанет время договариваться о будущем мироустройстве, о системе и существе соглашений, которые возможно для этого потребуются?
Ни у кого не должно оставаться сомнений, кто несет ответственность за затягивание нынешнего конфликта. Все действия администрации прямо указывают на отсутствие стремления к политурегулированию. Даже объявленный нами в одностороннем порядке режим прекращения огня на Рождество здесь называют «попыткой взять передышку». Все это означает, что Вашингтон настроен бороться с нами «до последнего украинца», а судьба народа Украины американцев совсем не волнует.

🔹 5 января 2023 года стало известно о том, что федеральный канцлер ФРГ О.Шольц и президент США Дж.Байден в телефонном разговоре условились начать снабжение киевского режима тяжёлой боевой техникой. Со стороны Германии речь, в частности, идёт о поставках БМП «Marder» и ЗРК «Patriot».
🔹 Решительно осуждаем данное решение и рассматриваем его в качестве очередного шага к эскалации конфликта на Украине. Особо циничным выглядит его принятие накануне православного праздника Рождества, высоко почитаемого в христианском мире, а также на фоне объявленного в этой связи Президентом России в одностороннем порядке режима прекращения огня.
🔹 Та скорость, с которой был согласован этот конфронтационный шаг, не оставляет сомнений, что на его осуществление в Берлине пошли в том числе под серьёзным давлением Вашингтона, действуя в соответствии с разрушительной логикой трансатлантической солидарности.
🔹 Со своей стороны вновь отмечаем, что накачка Киева летальными вооружениями и тяжёлой боевой техникой, применяемыми не только против российских военнослужащих, но и мирного населения Донбасса, – это тот моральный рубеж, который германские власти не должны были переступать с учётом исторической ответственности Германии перед нашим народом за преступления нацизма в годы Великой Отечественной войны.
🔹 С принятием Берлином данного решения становится всё более очевидным, что ФРГ и страны коллективного Запада не заинтересованы в поисках мирного разрешения конфликта. ◻️In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation and the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, a ceasefire regime has been declared in the combined grouping of Russian troops (forces) in the area of the special military operation from 12 p.m. on 6 January 2023 until 12 a.m. on 7 January 2023 along the entire line of contact in Ukraine.
💥In Kupyansk direction, over the past 24 hours, more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, two armoured fighting vehicles, and two motor vehicles were destroyed as a result of a complex shelling of AFU units close to Sinkovka, Ivanovka, and Berestovoye (Kharkov region), and Novoselovskoye (Lugansk People's Republic).
💥In Krasny Liman direction, two hostile assault groups were defeated by air strikes and artillery fire near Yampolovka (Donetsk People's Republic). In addition, three sabotage-reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed close to Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic) and Serebryanka and Grigorovka (Donetsk People's Republic). More than 60 Ukrainian soldiers, three armoured fighting vehicles, and four pickup trucks were lost by the enemy in this direction overall during the day.
💥In Donetsk direction, up to 80 Ukrainian troops have been killed or wounded along with two tanks, three infantry combat vehicles, and five vehicles annihilated during offensive operations by Russian troops over the past 24 hours.
💥In South Donetsk direction, over 50 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, three armoured fighting vehicles, and three pickup trucks were neutralised by air strikes, artillery, and heavy firing systems against concentrations of manpower and equipment close to Konstantinovka, Novomikhailovka, Prechistovka, and Novomayorskoye (Donetsk People's Republic), and Dorozhnyanka (Zaporozhye region).
💥Operational-Tactical Aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Armed Forces' grouping of troops (forces) engaged 65 artillery units at firing positions, as well as manpower, and military hardware in 102 areas. The command post of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit near Krasny Liman (Donetsk People's Republic). Three artillery ammunition depots were destroyed near Novomikhailovka and Chasov Yar (Donetsk People's Republic), and Otradokamenka (Kherson region). In the areas of Avdeevka and Rai-Aleksandrovka (Donetsk People's Republic), a launcher and a radar of the Ukrainian S-300 surface-to-air missile (SAM) system were revealed and destroyed.

📊In total, 360 airplanes and 199 helicopters, 2,839 unmanned aerial vehicles, 400 air defence missile systems, 7,437 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 971 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 3,783 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 7,951 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.
⚠️ Despite the observance of the ceasefire by the Russian grouping of troops from 12 p.m. (Moscow time) today, on 6 January, the Kiev regime continued its artillery shelling of populated areas and Russian positions.
◻️In Krasny Liman direction, there were four cases of mortar shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the Russian positions. Three artillery attacks were conducted close to Belogorovka (Lugansk People's Republic). There were eight cases of artillery shelling from the area of Novopavlovka (Zaporozhye region). The AFU positions that conducted shelling were suppressed by Russian forces' backfire.

◻️In the past 24 hours, air defence systems have destroyed five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles close to Novokrasnyanka and Kremennaya (Lugansk People's Republic), and Zavodovka (Kherson region). In addition, eight U.S. HIMARS multiple-launch rockets were intercepted near Kopani, Sladkaya Balka, and Ternovatoye (Zaporozhye region).
📊In total, 360 airplanes and 199 helicopters, 2,839 unmanned aerial vehicles, 400 air defence missile systems, 7,437 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 971 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 3,783 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 7,951 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.
⚠️ Despite the observance of the ceasefire by the Russian grouping of troops from 12 p.m. (Moscow time) today, on 6 January, the Kiev regime continued its artillery shelling of populated areas and Russian positions.
◻️In Krasny Liman direction, there were four cases of mortar shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the Russian positions. Three artillery attacks were conducted close to Belogorovka (Lugansk People's Republic). There were eight cases of artillery shelling from the area of Novopavlovka (Zaporozhye region). The AFU positions that conducted shelling were suppressed by Russian forces' backfire.

Cross procession and Christmas service in field church at Khmeimim air base in Syria
The service was attended by all troops who were not on duty at the time.
◽️ The small church could not accommodate all those who wished to attend the service, and those who came filled the square in front of it. According to servicemen, participation in the Christmas liturgy is especially important because it unites them with their families who meet the holiday in their homeland.
◽️ The Christmas service ended with a cross procession. Hundreds of servicemen with lighted candles marched through Russian Khmeimim air base, carrying the face of the Savior at the head of the column, as well as icons of Our Lady of Kazan and Elijah the Prophet.
