I have already talked about this, both in a dry and official manner, as well as with emotion, and… in different ways.

Let me once again remind those who use these code words either because of their illiteracy or their immorality.

In August 1939, the second congress of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) was held in fascist Italy. One of the decisions of the congress was to adopt the unified greeting of the Ukrainian fascists at that time: “Glory to Ukraine!” and the response cry “Glory to the Leader!” (Vozhdevy Slava).

Later, in 1941, after the OUN split into two factions (the OUN(m) and OUN(b)), Bandera’s supporters held their own second congress of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists, this time in Krakow, where they also approved the slogan “Glory to Ukraine!” / "Glory to the heroes!". Both phrases – the greeting and the response – were agreed upon and approved as a symbolic greeting, a kind of call sign, a code in the “friend or foe” sense of recognition. At the same time, in order to emphasise their isolation, the Melnikovites adhered to the response phrase “Glory to the Leader.”

Another “spicy” moment is that, according to the documents approved at the 1941 congress, the greeting was accompanied by the following gesture: “the greeting is made in the form of raising the straightened right arm at an angle to the right just above the head.”

Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

This is how collaborators saluted the Wehrmacht and SS units back in those years, not just for their internal use, but for their identification in front of the Nazi SS.

The excuses of those who use the slogans today “jokingly” will not work. Every time someone uses these passcodes, they salute Nazism and fascism.

🇷🇺 Despite the US decision to terminate the so-called Middle East Quartet, Russia is ready to continue working within this format, Vladimir Safronkov, the Russian Foreign Ministry's special representative for the Middle East, told Sputnik on Wednesday.

💬 "It is not our decision to end the dialogue under the Quartet. Even in the current geopolitical realities, we are ready to return to collective work. They should make up their mind. In the meantime, we continue to work in our national capacity, relying on close interaction with all regional states," the diplomat said in an interview.

According to Safronkov, the US policy toward the Quartet, which includes Russia, the US, the EU and the UN, is a continuation of Washington's course to scrap a number of multilateral formats.

💥 In Kupyansk direction, artillery attacks launched by Russian forces at the manpower concentration areas from 14th and 95th mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have resulted in the elimination of up to 30 Ukrainian personnel, 1 tank, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, and 3 motor vehicles near Kucherovka, Peschanoye (Kharkov region), and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic).

💥 In Krasniy Liman direction, artillery attacks have resulted in the neutralisation of the units from 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU near Grigorovka and Serebryanka (Donetsk People's Republic).

◽️ The enemy has lost over 40 Ukrainian personnel, 2 armoured personnel carriers, and 3 pickups.

⚡️ Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a ceasefire on Orthodox Christmas Eve and Christmas Day along the front in Ukraine.

💬 "Taking into account of the appeal of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, I instruct the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation to introduce a ceasefire regime along the entire line of contact between the parties in Ukraine from 12:00 pm on January 6 to 24:00 on January 7 of this year," the presidential order, released by the Kremlin's press service, reads. "Given that a large number of citizens practicing the Orthodox faith live in areas where hostilities are taking place, we call on the Ukrainian side to declare a ceasefire, and to allow them the opportunity to attend services on Christmas Eve, as well as the Day of the Nativity of Christ," the order adds.
