«В России любят иностранцев, адаптироваться там несложно» - студентка из США рассказала о жизни и учебе в России
Калининой Ксении из Лос-Анджелеса 26 лет. Несмотря на то, что всю жизнь девушка прожила в США, по ее словам, с Россией ее связывает семья, родные и история. Когда пришло время выбирать ВУЗ и получать профессию, Ксения остановила свой выбор именно на российском образовании.
Сейчас Ксения - студентка МГАХИ имени В. И. Сурикова. Девушка учится в России по квоте Правительства Российской Федерации для иностранных граждан и лиц без гражданства, том числе соотечественников проживающих за рубежом.
В интервью Российскому культурному центру в г.Вашингтон Ксения рассказала о жизни и учебе в России, о стереотипах, связанных с Россией и русскими людьми, о том, сложно ли было адаптироваться в России, о том, кто ей в этом помогал, а также о том, что полученный опыт в России она хочет передать американцам, интересующимся живописью.

The admission campaign for foreign citizens has ended at the Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky. In 2022, about 550 students from 70 countries of the world, including from the CIS countries, as well as from China, South Korea, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Syria, Peru, Ecuador and others, began to study at UNN. In total, about three thousand foreigners submitted applications.
«The most popular sphere of study this year are general medicine, software engineering, international relations, psychology, law, management, and pedagogical areas» said UNN Rector Elena Zagainova.
Moreover, in 2022, UNN hosted the admission of foreign applicants for new international educational programs. In September, students from partner Zhengzhou University came to study Russian as a foreign language for the first time.
Now about 1900 foreign students from 91 countries of the world study at UNN.

Основная задача — дать иностранным гражданам качественное образование, чтобы по возвращении на родину они работали на развитие экономик своих государств. По словам заместителя главы Агентства Павла Шевцова, квоты нужно выделять именно на те специальности, которые будут востребованы в стране ближайшие 4-6 лет.
