We are looking for a rockstar developer with experience in Ruby on Rails
Responsibilities:
- You will be involved in the construction of a full solution for Equippo's marketplace
- You will be working with a supportive and talented team of developers
- You are expected to keep up with the fast pace of short release cycles
- The position may be remote (based in Europe, Minsk) or located in Rotterdam
Requirements:
- You have a deep understanding of the Ruby and RubyOnRails ecosystems (3+ years)
- You have +3 years of experience as a developer
- you have a strong understanding of modern web development
- A hands-on approach to the full stack
- A computer science, software engineering or informatics degree is preferable
- You have a good understanding of front-end development and ecosystems
— Experience with relational databases (we use PostgresSQL)
- Understanding memcached and Redis
- You have knowledge of deploying to Heroku
- You can communicate fluently in English
- You work on a Mac or Unix like (i.e. Linux) environment
- You possess a test-driven mentality
- Experience with fast-paced software development teams
- You can work on standard working hours or be available during European business
- You have the drive and focus to make your planning work while keeping your code clean
