Dear Customers! We continue improving our RPCM.CLOUD service. We have recently released the version 0.12.0, which features the following changes:
⁃ In order to help you avoid potential unexpected repair costs, we now warn you about upcoming warranty expiration of your devices upon logging into the cloud
⁃ Filters in Ports have become smarter! Now you can filter ports by accumulated counters and instant values. For instance: ma > 1000 will show ports with current value exceeding 1000 mA
⁃ You can now filter and search in Devices section as easy as you do in Ports! For example: kwh > 1000 will you devices with accumulated kwh exceeding 1000. Or sw <= 0.7.7 will show devices with software version less or equal 0.7.7
⁃ For your convenience we've added Dark Mode theme!
⁃ We've fixed Dashboard rendering issues for users with only DC RPCMs
⁃ Counters for all devices now load almost instantly!
⁃ We've fixed an issue, due to which Graphs might have not shown short circuits events, error conditions etc
We hope you enjoy this update that makes your experience even more comfortable! :)

1 + 1 = 3! UPS + RPCM Smart PDU = improvement of uptime + reduction of downtime + cost savings!
Dear Customers:
Over the last few months the world has unexpectedly incredibly changed. With over 2 billion people suddenly becoming remote the importance of infrastructure resiliency and remote control has become extremely indispensable.
At RCNTEC we continue to improve the most intelligent power control systems in the world – RPCM Smart PDUs with RPCM.CLOUD.
Today we’re announcing the release of RPCM.CLOUD update version 0.13.0.
We’ve improved several areas of the RPCM.CLOUD to make it more useful for you and to provide access to information you need most with as few actions needed from you as possible.
This release makes Groups so much more useful by providing sums of instant and accumulated consumption values of all RPCMs in your groups. You can now instantly see total consumption of your Racks, Rooms and even whole Data Centers with ability to dig down into details. This will allow you to quickly verify facts and find ways to optimize consumption of your power infrastructure!
Locations in Groups and the Map now allow you to quickly assess what kind of most severe issues you have in your power infrastructure with introduction of respective coloring of the locations.
Graphs now so much easier allow to find useful patterns during debugging of issues and finding patterns for optimization thanks to implemented presets of time periods to quickly load necessary consumption history information.
Finding particular sets of outlets within ranges of immediate consumption, voltage, accumulated power usage has become much more sophisticated with introduction of logical expressions in filtering functionality of Ports section.
We’ve also improved Help section to make it easier for you to learn details on how to use different features of the RPCM.CLOUD and improved some minor details and fixed some annoying bugs.
We invite you to try all the new introduced features of the RPCM.CLOUD to make sure your intelligent power infrastructure based on RPCM Smart PDUs gives you better field for optimization and troubleshooting than ever before!
Below are the release notes for this update:
* We have added telemetry for groups. You can now see sums of accumulated and instant consumption values of all RPCM's outlets in groups. Also, groups are now colored with the most critical status of all RPCMs in group.
* We have added useful presets for periods in the Dashboard, Graphs and Logs (Last 90, 30, 7, 1 days, Last quarter, month, week, day, current quarter, month, week, day).
* In Map section locations with RPCMs are now colored with the most critical status of all RPCMs in location.
* Filtering in Ports section has become more sophisticated. You can now use OR (||) or AND (&&) logical expressions to better filter out outlets you're looking for.
* We've redesigned the Help section to make it more intuitive.
* We've fixed incorrect indication of last update from RPCM. RPCMs that never pushed any data to the cloud now indicated "never" instead of "50 years ago".
* You can now postpone notification about expiring warranty by clicking "show later".
* We've fixed error that might prevent you from logging into the RPCM.CLOUD.
Enjoy the better RPCM.CLOUD!

RPCM — Resilient Power Control Module
Dear Customers:
After many months of development and thorough testing, today we are very glad to release RPCM Software 0.9.1.
With several years of experience, great feedback from our customers and lots of RPCMs out there in the wild helping customers do their job this is the most stable and resilient release over the whole history of the RPCM Software.
This release adds many essential and practical features that many of our customers have been asking for a while. It also fixes some annoying issues making RPCMs that people love even better.
Here's what’s new in RPCM Software 0.9.1 (Firmware 0.10.41) (compared to 0.8.1 (Firmware 0.9.768)):
New features:
- Added RADIUS support for authentication
- Added group-based authorization with granular permissions
- Added HTTPS support for REST API
- Added new REST API calls for outlets configuration, automation configuration and time setting
- Added REST API logging
- Added SNMP bulk walk support
- Outlet restart delays are now configurable
- You can now configure an outlet to stay off after RPCM is powered on (which is sometimes important, for example when you need to confirm conditions at remote location after blackout before switching on equipment to avoid damage to it)
- It is now possible to create multiple tests for a group of outlets in Automation menu
Bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue due to which SNMP could sometimes show erroneous extra large values
- Fixed an issue with setting date/time via REST API
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to set a non-existent color for display in SSH CLI
- Fixed an issue due to which RPCM HLC might not restart on restart high-level-controller
SSH CLI command
- Fixed an issue where displaying logs hung when using keyword search with --include in SSH CLI
- Fixed an issue with hanging of the Network Utilities
- Fixed an issue with resetting network settings in SSH CLI on input of incorrect netmask
- Fixed a bug that prevented changing the default gateway for static ip configuration via Web
- Fixed an issue that have lead to possibility of loss of last logs in the event of blackout as well as notification email may have not been sent before RPCM was shut down
- Fixed an issue due to which control from buttons on display might have led to loop, requiring restarting of the HLC
- Firmware: Fixed an issue that could have led to false detection of short circuits during delayed start procedure
- Firmware: Fixed an internal controller communications issue that have led to delays with responses to commands, button presses and have led to displaying messages on physical display several times and/or with delays
Improvements:
- Improved authentication logging - now you can differentiate sessions of the same user and see
if user was authenticated locally or by a particular radius server
- Reduced HLC CPU consumption by SNMP
- Colorized keywords of logs in system journal in web-interface for easier reading
- We've made SMTP settings more compatible with more email providers like Sendgrid and Yandex Mail
- Now DHCP announces RPCM's SerialName instead of just "RPCM" for easier matching at DHCP Servers
- We've improved survivability of critical internal processes to ensure better remote availability of RPCMs in case of unexpected software errors
- Firmware: Improved support of non-sinusoidal voltage signals on inlets
- Firmware: Buzzer alternating sound has become more even
Some of our customers who have been provided with early access to this software update have already installed it and confirmed its great work!
We really hope you will enjoy this RPCM Software Update and find your RPCMs even more useful and great to use because of it.
RPCM Software update is available for download in https://rpcm.cloud for all your RPCMs that are under active warranty.
If warranty of your RPCMs has expired, you can request extension of warranty right in RPCM.CLOUD console or by contacting us at info@rpcm.pro
Thank you so much for choosing RPCMs - the Smartest PDUs in the World for the Smartest Customers!
