While I read this fake story, intrigued to learn the evidence that supported the headline (impliedly that masks reduce transmission), a banner popped up.
It was CNN, telling me that theirs was distinctive, honest journalism.
By the way, no evidence whatsoever was provided that masks work. Anyone who’s been at least briefly awake knows that we do have good evidence on masks, but it’s to show they play no role in controlling respiratory virus transmission.
CNN’s “journalism” isn’t distinctive, either.

I’ve long wondered how so many people were persuaded to adopt a stance that will destroy the very civilisation in which one lives. Here’s one possibility. I’m interested to know what others think happened / is happening to keep smart politicians & the intelligentsia quiet. Someone posted this link under a Daily Telegraph piece on the vote on Vaxpass in Wales.

Regardless of what you think totalitarian tyranny will do with such power, which they definitely will have once Vaxpass is required to buy food (rationing makes it much easier to control access to food), you can surely see that THERE’S NO WAY OUT of it?

Personally, I believe mass depopulation is the end game PLUS total control of every aspect of life for the 5% who survive.

Even if I’m completely wrong about depopulation, the permanent end of human freedoms should be sufficient motivation for there to be no limits to what you’ll be willing to do to avert it?

Occasionally, I’m challenged on the basis that “If it’s as simple for qualified biological scientists to see through the lies as you say, Yeadon, why are there so very few who are speaking out?”

I’ve summarised the position for U.K. academics. I know it’s the same in USA where the NIH has even greater power of patronage & cash.

The only other groups will be those in commercial organisations like Biopharma. They also would have to resign or be fired if they speak out.

The final cohort are scientists in the U.K. NHS. I haven’t found many doctors to be as bright as we’d hope, but public sector staff haven’t been much in evidence in speaking out.

Depressing that those close to or just beyond retirement haven’t spoken out more.
