Comirnaty and Spikevax: EMA recommendations on extra doses and boosters

“EMA’s human medicines committee (CHMP) has concluded that an extra dose of the COVID-19 vaccines Comirnaty (BioNTech/Pfizer) and Spikevax (Moderna) may be given to people with severely weakened immune systems, at least 28 days after their second dose.

The recommendation comes after studies showed that an extra dose of these vaccines increased the ability to produce antibodies against the virus that causes COVID-19 in organ transplant patients with weakened immune systems.[1] [2]

Although there is no direct evidence that the ability to produce antibodies in these patients protected against COVID-19, it is expected that the extra dose would increase protection at least in some patients. EMA will continue monitoring any data that emerges on its effectiveness”

That more PCR tests were sold before the official emergence of a novel virus doesn’t tell us that it was the same virus they sought to detect.
How could it have been? In order to detect a specific sequence of RNA, you need to know what that sequence is.

What kits were being sold? Why were the kits bought at all?

Did a kit (of probes & primers) designed time detect SARS-COV-2 exist, long before its claimed zoonotic escape?

Vaccine passport vote passes in Wales after one Tory fails to log onto Zoom

“The vaccine passport measure in the Welsh Parliament has passed by a single vote after one Tory failed to log onto Zoom.

Mandatory Covid passes in nightclubs and big sporting events are due to come into force across Wales on Monday after the knife-edge vote.

The controversial measures were agreed with 28 Senedd politicians voting for and 27 voting against, despite a majority opposition against the plans.

Conservative Member of the Senedd (MS) Gareth Davies was unable to take part in the vote, with the Tories citing "technical difficulties" for his inability to log onto Zoom.

If all opposition members of the Welsh Parliament had taken part in the vote the Government would have lost in a tie, with the Tories, Liberal Democrats and Plaid Cymru opposed to the scheme”

French Senate Introduces Bill to Mandate COVID-19 Vaccinations for All Beginning January 1, 2022

The city of lights has been illuminated with the allegorical ambiance of pitchforks and torches as massive protests have taken to the streets of Paris since President Emmanuel Macron announced measures on July 12th that require proof of vaccination to enter cafés, restaurants, and even hospitals.

The forewarning of the outcries of those protesters has now reached its apotheosis as the Social Affairs Committee of the French Senate has introduced a bill that will require mandatory vaccinations against COVID-19 for all citizens beginning on January 1st, 2022.

The proposed vaccine mandate was introduced by Senator Bernard Jomier on October 4th. Jomier, the Senator of Paris who introduced the law proposition, sits as the Vice-Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee....within the French government. Jomier, a member of the Socialist Party, continues to work as a physician as he had preceding his initial term as a Senator which began in 2017...

Mandatory vaccinations would take effect beginning January 1st, 2022 and would those who do not comply would be subject to a fine of €135 under Article 519 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure. While I read this fake story, intrigued to learn the evidence that supported the headline (impliedly that masks reduce transmission), a banner popped up.
It was CNN, telling me that theirs was distinctive, honest journalism.
By the way, no evidence whatsoever was provided that masks work. Anyone who’s been at least briefly awake knows that we do have good evidence on masks, but it’s to show they play no role in controlling respiratory virus transmission.
CNN’s “journalism” isn’t distinctive, either.
