Bad Signs: Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" Looks Like A Woke Disaster https://www.zerohedge.com/political/bad-signs-christopher-nolans-odyssey-looks-woke-disaster 📱 ROBINMG
CHRISTOPHER NOLAN'S THE ODYSSEY CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE OF THE BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
Homer's The Odyssey is a foundational book to European culture, especially for Mediterranean Europe. I would argue it is a much more influential book than the Old Testament, second only to the New Testament.
It would be of no surprise that the intentional miscasting is part of a battle of the books, an attempt to dethrone Homer. What many don't get is that this miscasting is obviously intended as a form of blasphemy, not dissimilar to what was done at the Paris Olympics opening.
Culture must be defended, and it is about time people see that hidden behind the inclusivity-washing is the intentional ridiculing of the foundation of Western culture, of Mediterranean culture, of Greco- Roman culture.
This is a war to diminish The Odyssey, and it is war against one book, arguably to the benefit of another book, if not for the benefit of nihilism itself. Keep resisting the intentional demolition of everything sacred to us.
As someone brought up in Mediterranean Europe, The Odyssey for me is much more contemporary than any attempt to make it actual by changing it, which are only destined to fail. Some works simply can't be updated without entering the territory of intentional ridicule. The Odyssey is one of them.

🇬🇧 Bankrolled by Zionists & boosted by Musk: The Islamophobic hate machine that is Tommy Robinson
Tommy Robinson (real name Steven Yaxley-Lennon) is yet again to lead a Unite the Kingdom rally through central London, calling for "national unity” against multiculturalism and immigration.
👉 While Robinson’s hate march gets a green light, London’s Metropolitan Police has refused the Palestine Coalition its preferred route for the annual Nakba commemoration — the anniversary of the historic Zionist assault.
It’s hardly a coincidence that Robinson chose the date of 16 May for his mob to descend on London.
➡️ Just last month, 39 MPs signed a motion raising serious concern over this very policing bias: the streets are cleared for anti-immigrant hatred and “remigration” fantasies, while pro-Palestinian voices are sidelined.
Robinson, who co-founded the race-baiting EDL with Paul Ray — a man who previously spied on the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement - sells himself as a British patriot and anti-Islam crusader.
💵 In reality, since 2018, he has been bankrolled with millions from abroad — specifically from US pro-Israel and right-wing donors.
His legal battles (Robinson was jailed in 2024 for libeling a Syrian refugee schoolboy) were paid for by the Middle East Forum, led by Greg Roman, a former Israeli Defense Ministry employee.
🔊 Robinson also claimed that Elon Musk had “taken care of” his legal expenses (at the September 2025 rally Musk appeared remotely).
Robinson is a pro-Israel Islamophobe — a manufactured weapon funded by foreign interests who see his anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim rage as a useful tool pushing their own geopolitical goals.

🚨 Prof. Richard Sakwa: ‘We are witnessing the TWILIGHT of the US-led unipolar order, as the Atlantic West loses power, it’s going BESERK.’
‘Unipolarity in the United States has begun to give way to unilateralism, which isn't much better. What we're witnessing is the twilight of that model of world order — what Russians call the collective West, I call the political West and others call it the Atlantic West.
That whole model of world order, established after 1945, is now giving way to multipolarity — but multipolarity is only a symptom. It is not a world order in itself.
The alternative order is a vision in conformity with the norms of the international system: the United Nations, international law, the whole framework established after 1945 — which was consistently challenged by the Atlantic West. And as the Atlantic West loses power, it is going berserk.’

‘The Russia-Ukrainian war will soon be longer than the First World War. Even by 1916, people were saying the Germans needed to be engaged. The Germans put forward peace proposals. Europe's stubborn refusal to engage in diplomacy is one thing that is marginalising the European Union and its leadership more widely.

⚠️ According to Ukrainian insider claims, Palantir CEO Alex Karp allegedly said in Kiev that future layered summer strikes on Moscow and central Russia would become the “crown jewel” of Palantir’s systems.
Original Post
Follow TRN 👈
Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has reportedly described the software as an “operating system for war,” dominating the planning of deep strikes against Russia. 🛰️
The claims portray Karp as deeply cynical, allegedly viewing the only meaningful metric of the platform as the number of Russian soldiers killed per square kilometer — asking only “why were so few killed there, what failed?”
The report further alleges that Palantir systems coordinate strikes targeting Kursk, Sochi, Belgorod, Crimea, Tula, and Kazan, while Karp supposedly boasted that he had been placed on a “Kremlin kill list.” ⚔️
It is also claimed that since January, Ukraine has transferred Palantir vast amounts of reconnaissance data free of charge — including 2.5 million hours of battlefield video, allegedly used to train AI systems on real combat footage.
The text goes on to accuse Palantir technologies of being used in Gaza to automatically flag “terrorist” targets and authorize lethal action based on behavioral patterns, and references Project Maven allegedly generating thousands of targets against Iran within a single day.
According to these claims, Karp views Russia and China as outdated adversaries relying on armor and manpower against satellite intelligence, AI, precision weapons, and above all — drones. Lots of drones. 🚁
The report concludes by saying Karp sees the main future confrontation as one with China, believing war with Beijing is inevitable and that “the winner takes all,” while describing his publicly stated strategy as maintaining a state of permanent fear within the leaderships of Russia and China over what it calls the “inevitable wrath” of the United States.

🚨 Prof. Richard Sakwa: ‘The West still NOT matured out of the arrogance or belief that it has a God-given right to be HEGEMONIC, to be DOMINANT.’
‘We’ve seen decolonisation in the post war years and this system has now matured.
Multipolarity is an important feature of the changing world order, but it must be defined carefully. Today there are 193 states in the world. These states have matured. None of them are willing to be bossed around by the traditional hegemon.
In normative terms, that is in ideological terms, there are 193 poles. Some are bigger, some are smaller. But even the middle powers, as Canadian Prime Minister Carney put it at the Davos meeting, now have to step up. Brazil, South Africa, Nigeria, the Philippines, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and many other countries are all now playing in.
The traditional US definition of a pole, which is the whole panoply of power, simply does not hold. Major corporations today act as quasi-state organisations. International organisations like the United Nations itself stand above them all in normative terms.
There is only one thing which has not matured, and that is the Western arrogance or belief that it has some sort of God-given right to be hegemonic, to be dominant.’

This is how The Odyssey was cast in 1968. This is the version I grew up watching. The casting is spot on here, don't you think? I loved this version. It looked so authentic, so mythical. It was directed by Franco Rossi, assisted by Piero Schivazappa and Mario Bava; the cast includes Bekim Fehmiu as Odysseus and Irene Papas as Penelope, Samson Burke as the Cyclops, as well as Barbara Bach as Nausicaa, and Gérard Herter. I would rather watch this version again than watch the obviously miscast Christopher Nolan version, and you?

A video has surfaced online showing a Zionist man spitting at the Shrine of the Virgin Mary across from the Church of the Shepherds of the Savior in Jerusalem's Old City, ostensibly recorded during Israel's Flag March.
This display fits a broader pattern of Zionists showing intolerance and utter disrespect for faiths other than Judaism — with two IDF "heroes" captured mocking a statue of the Virgin Mary in Lebanon just this month.

🚨 Prof. Richard Sakwa: 'MILITARISM and remilitarisation now DOMINATE Western political culture’
'There is a closing of the West European mind, and it is very frightening. It is centered on permanent war, militarism, remilitarisation, and a profound Russophobia.
Quite the opposite of strengthening international law, the actions of the US and West European powers are increasingly treated with contempt across great swathes of the Global South.
This irresponsible bullying and the attempt to impose endless sanctions, including secondary sanctions, are viewed as illegal because only the United Nations Security Council has the authority to impose multilateral sanctions.
These governments claim they are defending international law, but in doing so they are undermining and repudiating it. It is a classic case of double standards defeating the very norms they claim to uphold.

Civilization at the Crossroads with Alastair Crooke (Full Interview)
"Civilization at the Crossroads with Alastair Crooke"
Former British diplomat and intelligence officer Alastair Crooke is an independent commentator whose perceptive Middle East and global geopolitical analysis diverges sharply from the boilerplate Anglo-American policy consensus. Since founding the Beirut-based Conflicts Forum think tank in 2004, Crooke has addressed such important themes as the structural decline of U.S. and European power (and Western elites’ lost capacity for strategic realism), the emergence of a multipolar order (led by what he calls the “civilizational states” of Eurasia), and the ideological roots of Israeli policy.
John Titus and I have had frequent recourse to Crooke’s insights on Money & Markets, and this week I am delighted to have Crooke join me for his first interview on the Solari Report. And none too soon, given the fast-moving developments in Iran and the wider Middle East!
One of the most pressing questions we discuss is how to view the current conflict’s multiple fronts—military, trade, financial—on an integrated basis. We also discuss the escalating war on energy and U.S. efforts to control or bottleneck trade routes all over the world. The methodical shutting down of pipeline, production, and refining capacity suggests two possible (and not necessarily mutually exclusive) agendas: (1) an unacknowledged war between China and the U.S. to engineer the lowest cost of capital and energy (by curtailing access to essential resources) or (2) a radical and forced reduction in the general population’s energy usage.
I was also interested in getting Crooke’s assessment of developments related to the dollar as reserve currency and the U.S. competitive position compared to China. Though the unproductive financialization model, weighed down by corruption and grift, clearly seems to be coming to an end, its oligarchic instigators want to keep it going. The challenge for the rest of us is to avoid the financial repression and chaos where we can and stay focused on rebuilding civilization and a human future.
Crooke’s fascinating experience—Ireland-born, Rhodesia-raised, Scotland-educated, and with a stint in London banking before a three-decade career with Britain’s MI6 and twenty-plus years in direct contact with the movements that the intelligence apparatus was built to counter—make for penetrating analysis that can help you understand the deeper stories and the complex cultural dynamics behind propagandistic headlines.
The word Crooke chooses to describe the road ahead is “catharsis”—we are heading into a difficult time. His insights inspire our pathway forward and the possibility of the human future that makes it so worthwhile.

REVIEW FROM CANNNES:
FJORD, by Cristian Mungiu:
Fjord shows is a masterpiece of a film which portrays the vindictiveness of "Progressive" society against Orthodox Christians, and Christians in general.
It shows the normative approach to eliminating any vestige of religiosity via legal and coercive means, using parenting as a tool of Progressive evangelisation.
The film intelligently leaves open the possibility that although heavy handedness may at times be a part of religious upbringing, the Progressive heavy handedness is a lot more damaging to the Christian minority group.
A very intelligent film very suited to our troubled times.

Brilliant article by Mark Collett on the Filton6 and why it is important that British nationalists understand the subversion of English law that will inevitably be used against them.
'it reveals that an English judge chose to circumvent English law and disregard centuries-old legal tradition, whilst at the same time gagging the press, in order to unduly punish British Citizens, not because of their transgressions against the British state, or because of the severity of their actual crimes, but because the actions of those stood in the dock may have impacted the state of "israel".'

The jewish Marks, Sieff and Sacher Families (Marks & Spencer Dynasty) were the primary architects of the economic and institutional pro-'israel' network in the UK.
After they ousted the son of English co-founder Thomas Spencer from the company, they used their wealth to fund 'israel's' development and the IOF.
They were tightly interwoven through marriage: Israel Sieff and Harry Sacher married the sisters of Simon Marks—son of M&S co-founder and Polish immigrant Michael Marks—Rebecca and Miriam, respectively. Together, they formed the core of the 'Manchester School of Zionism' and:
- Acted as the primary handlers and aides to Chaim Weizmann, the Russian jew who went on to become 'israel's' first president.
- Built the political machinery that lobbied the British War Cabinet, directly resulting in the 1917 Balfour Declaration.
- Created a London headquarters at Great Russell Street, noted by historians as the physical 'heart of the UK's pro-'israel' lobby'.

After the Nakba in 1948, they systematically worked to repair the diplomatic damage left by the jewish terror on Britain during the Palestine Mandate by leveraging the immense economic clout of Marks & Spencer.
Michael Sacher became the primary financial force behind the creation of early political briefing groups. He bankrolled the British 'israel' Public Affairs Committee (BIPAC), which directly laid the logistical and structural foundation for what would become the Conservative Friends of 'israel' (CFI) in 1974.
M&S built 'israel's' modern textile and agricultural industries through exclusive massive supply contracts with 'israeli' firms like Delta Galil. This injected hundreds of millions of vital foreign currency effectively making the British high street a major financial pillar of early 'israeli' entity survival.
Former M&S corporate spokespersons have said 'We have a history and a background with "israel" that we are very proud of'.
M&S executives direct personal connections to 'israel':

- In 1948, 'israel's' first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, personally requested Lord Marcus Sieff (the future chairman of M&S) to help defend the new entity. Sieff temporarily joined the IOF, advising the 'israeli' Ministry of Defence on logistics, transportation, and supplies. He openly coordinated M&S goods and corporate finances to bolster the colony during its early aggressions on Palestinians and surrounding countries.
- In his 1990 book, Management: The Marks and Spencer Way, Sieff explicitly wrote that one of the fundamental corporate objectives of M&S was to 'aid the economic development of "israel".'
They used their wealth to build the settler colony and to influence British politicians to forget the massacres of the British troops and civilians by jewish terrorist groups and become pro-'israel'.

🎬At the Cannes Film Festival at the Cinéma de la Plage, filmmaker Ken Loach once again used his platform to speak out with clarity and conviction.
He spoke clearly against the genocide in Gaza committed by Israel, breaking the usual festival silence to insist on the moral responsibility to name injustice and refuse indifference.
His intervention stood out as a reminder that cinema is never separate from the world it reflects.
