May 4: Iran repels US push at Strait of Hormuz, hits warships after they ignore warnings

Iran consolidated its unchallenged authority over the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, pushing back decisively against the latest US military offensives.

“I was beaten by four people, repeatedly punched, kicked, spat on and accused of being a terrorist.”

British Gaza flotilla activists Alice Chapman and Zak Khan said they required hospital care after being abducted and abused by Israeli occupation forces who attacked and intercepted their aid ships in international waters near Crete.

Khan testified that he was shot in the leg with a rubber bullet, violently assaulted, and told by doctors he came close to a broken jaw. He also said he developed a chest infection due to the conditions aboard the detention vessel.

Chapman said she was punched by an Israeli soldier, while both described detainees being forced to sleep either inside shipping containers or outdoors, exposed to extreme cold at night and intense heat during the day, while being denied water and having stun grenades used to disrupt their sleep.

Khan further reported that some detainees were placed in solitary confinement, while others were taken away and beaten. He described one activist being “beaten very badly” inside a container after shouting “free Palestine,” with others only able to hear the assault.

They said dozens of detainees required medical treatment upon release, as Israeli occupation forces seized multiple vessels from the flotilla attempting to break the blockade on Gaza, with organizers condemning the attack as unlawful and an act of piracy.

Well, we are roughly one day into "Operation Free-Dumb" and now we find out there will be NO ESCORTING of tankers by U.S. Navy ships at all.

Instead, the tankers in the Persian Gulf will only be "guided" by radio, not by naval vessels.

In other words, the entire thing was another delusional fantasy that fell apart in just one day, while clueless MAGA loyalists cheered yet another hollow victory and broken promise.

The Tokenization Chokepoint - Courtenay Turner

Part III in the Tokenization Series. The architecture I warned about is no longer a thesis at the edge of crypto. As of May 4, 2026, it has an institutional rollout schedule.

"In January, I published “The Tokenization of Everything.” The argument was not that blockchain is evil or that every tokenized asset is a control device. The argument was narrower and more dangerous: once property, money, credentials, and access rights are converted into programmable digital instruments inside a regulated, bank-integrated ecosystem, ownership quietly mutates into conditional permission. Tokens are not neutral representations of property. They are code that can be designed to expire, freeze, restrict, or revoke based on compliance scores, policy triggers, or algorithmic rules set somewhere upstream. I named the legislative scaffolding — the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act — and the institutional cheerleaders, from BlackRock’s Larry Fink to then–Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. The warning was structural: a subscription society where durable property rights are replaced by revocable permissions, and where opting out becomes impractical because the rails of daily life run through the new system.

In February, I published “The Proof of Persona: Decoding Patent 060606.” That essay went one layer deeper. Microsoft’s published patent application WO2020060606A1 describes a cryptocurrency system in which a task is issued to a user device, a sensor captures body activity, the resulting data is transformed into a compact proof, and a cryptocurrency reward is issued if the proof satisfies validity conditions defined by the system. The patent publication explicitly contemplates that a user can solve the validation problem “unconsciously.” The point was not that this system is currently deployed. The point was that someone considered it feasible enough to file: a published blueprint for moving the credential from what you do to what your body does — proof-of-work to proof-of-response to proof-of-compliance. I called it the hash of the soul, and I argued that the deepest battle is not technical but metaphysical: whether persons are real prior to systems, or whether personhood is a status conferred by what a validation server can read and certify.

The two pieces, taken together, sketched a stack:

Layer 1 — Programmable assets. Property, money, securities, and services rendered into tokens that obey rules embedded by issuers, custodians, and regulators.

Layer 2 — Programmable persona. Identity, eligibility, attention, and eventually body-derived signals rendered into ledger-native attestations that condition access to Layer 1.

Conclusion: The Ledger Is Becoming the Law
The central issue is not blockchain. It never was. The central issue is whether the architecture of ownership — and eventually of personhood — is being rebuilt around programmable compliance, with control surfaces concentrated in institutions that the public neither elected nor effectively oversees.

DTCC’s announcement shows the institutional layer of that rebuild moving from concept to schedule. The systemically important depository at the center of U.S. capital markets, with $114 trillion in custody and a working group spanning the largest banks, asset managers, market makers, and crypto-native infrastructure providers in the world, is preparing to support tokenized entitlements, registered wallets, approved chains, near-real-time surveillance, compliance-aware protocols, and reversible token controls under the legal framing of “same rights, same protections.”

That is not a conspiracy theory. That is the documented architecture, as published by DTCC and as authorized by the SEC’s December 2025 no-action letter.

The interpretation is mine, and I will own it: this is the institutional rollout of the asset layer I warned about in “The Tokenization of Everything,” and it is the rail on which the persona layer described in “The Proof of Persona” will eventually run. Neither piece of the stack is fully assembled. Both are being built. The question is no longer whether tokenization is coming, but who is writing the rules of the tokenized world — and whether human beings retain rights inside it, or merely permissions.

Once ownership is programmable, the fight is no longer over markets.

It is over sovereignty.

It is over what a person is.

It is over whether the ledger can rightfully become the referee of standing — or whether there remains, behind every measurement and every attestation, a human being who is real before the system reads them.

The rollout begins in July.

During the time of Covid many of us who dared to question found ourselves painfully rejected--socially, professionally, by people dearest to us. In our bewilderment many of us found our way to Reiner’s Corona Investigative Committee hearings. It is a human need, I think, to abhor the vacuum of loneliness, to find and bond with kindred spirits. Even though what Reiner provided was (necessarily) an online event and could not provide essential contact with the living and breathing (which the “powers that be” sought to deprive), it provided an opening for something new and beautiful to form, based in the human drive toward truth.

In this time of greatest intensity, I feel Reiner to be a kindred spirit. I believe he and I both see a profound imperative in this historical madness for an awakening, one in which the richness and beauty of the human being finally becomes clear. By providing the hearings (which cost him his freedom) he was demonstrating his belief in the truth seeking drive, and the agency whereby a person could choose to heed it. He demonstrated his faith in the tools at our disposal, for that purpose: critical thinking skills, intuition, empathy, capacity to love, moral compass.

I can only think of what has been happening in the world as motivated by an anti-human evil, which opposes individual agency and all the gifts that go with that. That evil has entrapped most of us on some level or another, causing us to forget who we are. Isn’t it remarkable that in its overreach this evil has triggered remembrance instead, and a desire in many of us to understand ourselves more fully? So, when I go to DC on May 5th I go not to grovel before an extension of a corrupted body, but in calm confidence and in remembrance. I go in remembrance of who Reiner really is (a child of a loving Creator, a brother) and where he belongs (free, and with loved ones). I go in remembrance of who I am (a child of that Creator) and of who my fellow People truly are, as we will all see when we have become more fully awake.

Many are still enmeshed in the lie, one that we now see (and the Investigative Committee showed) is intentionally foisted upon us. During Covid people were intentionally frightened away from using their Divine gifts and tools to evaluate for truth. Many of the most susceptible had position, homes with mortgages, children at expensive colleges (not that there is anything inherently wrong with those), clans that felt dangerous to leave, mothers who seemed to love them only when the report card passed muster. Many are caught up in this web of deceit under what they consider severe penalty. But human beings are meant for freedom and not entrapment, as I trust we are coming to understand.

When we combine our truth-seeking light in a spirit of love and empathy, we light a health-giving path that is currently outside of visibility for many. Reiner generously expended his resources for such illumination, believing that all of us as unique individuals would find it in ourselves to see accurately, and to act in truth. We are who we are in this moment, and for some of us this is about standing in that capacity rather than being in a fight energy. It is about standing together, no matter how anyone tries to fight or frighten us.

I go to DC on Reiner’s birthday to gather in the mutual strength of other kindred spirits in a truth-seeking process (whatever that may mean for each one, right now). This is a huge country and many will be unable to come in person. If that is true of you, I ask that on May 5, noon to 2:00 EDT, you join us in spirit as we stand in calm confidence that our light will dissipate the darkness. That is inevitable, as we stand. ❗️Global telecom networks hijacked for mass surveillance by Israeli firms

Israeli telecommunications infrastructure has been used to track mobile phone users across more than 10 countries over the past three years, according to an investigation by Canada-based digital research group Citizen Lab, cited by Haaretz.

The probe found that systems spanning legacy networks and modern 5G architecture were effectively turned into “tracking devices” using advanced spyware tools, with over 15,700 location-tracking attempts recorded since November 2022 across countries including Thailand, South Africa, Norway, Bangladesh, and Malaysia.

Internal documents reviewed by Haaretz showed that Israel-linked firms marketed and deployed surveillance tools globally. Verint, the parent company of Cognyte, reportedly sold an SS7-based system known as SkyLock to a government client in the Democratic Republic of Congo, while Swiss telecom firm Fink enabled Israeli companies such as Rayzone to impersonate mobile carriers and infiltrate networks.

The investigation found that core global telecom systems used to route calls, texts, and mobile data across networks were exploited to extract user data, including through SIMjacking, which uses hidden SMS messages to force devices to share their location.
