๐Ÿ‘€ Trumpโ€™s Jewish son-in-law seeks to make billions from Middle East war

Jared Kushner is reportedly seeking about $5B for his firm Affinity Partners, courting sovereign wealth funds from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, the New York Times reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Riyadh alone has already poured $2B into the fund.

Affinity Partners, founded in 2021, manages $5B+ and holds stakes tied to Israelโ€™s defense sector, including companies connected to Elbit Systems and Israel Shipyards.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The fundraising push comes as Kushner has increasingly acted as the public face of US diplomacy in the Middle East, representing Washington in regional talks as if the State Department barely exists.

Meanwhile, speculation about his influence in the region keeps growing. According to reporting cited by The New York Times and other US outlets, Kushner has been among the advisers shaping Washingtonโ€™s approach to Iran during the current crisis.

War sweeps the region โ€” and apparently also primes fundraising season.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ’ฅ ๐Ÿ’ธGuess whoโ€™s cashing in on the Iran war

American oil groups stand to reap a profit windfall from the US and Israeli aggression against Iran, notes the Financial Times.

The war has caused major supply shocks, including near-halting energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz - normally carrying ~18โ€“20 million barrels of oil per day - and disruptions to LNG.

This has driven the price surge: Brent closed at $103.14 on March 13, with WTI at $98.71.

โ™ฆ๏ธ If crude prices hold at elevated levels (US oil companies could see an extra $63.4 billion boost in revenue/cash flow from higher oil production in 2026, per modeling from energy research firm Rystad Energy

โ™ฆ๏ธ Investment bank Jefferies estimates an additional $5 billion in cash flow for American producers in the first month alone, driven by a roughly 47% rise in oil prices since the conflict began on February 28

โ™ฆ๏ธ Gulf producers have been forced to cut at least 10 million barrels per day of total production โ€” 8 million barrels of crude plus 2 million barrels of condensates and natural gas liquids

โ™ฆ๏ธ Storage facilities across Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia are filling rapidly, with tankers unable to load

๐Ÿ˜Ž Who benefits most

US shale oil companies with limited direct exposure to the Middle East and domestic-focused American oil groups are positioned as the biggest beneficiaries.

Such companies can sell at much higher prices with relatively contained operational risk, note analysts cited by the outlet.

Global energy giants โ€” ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP, Shell, and TotalEnergies โ€” are facing regional production halts, risky Middle East asset exposure, and Strait of Hormuz disruptions threatening supply chains.

๐Ÿ›ข Sidestepping the Hormuz squeeze: Has Saudi Arabia's desert pipeline flipped Iran's blockade script?

As Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuzโ€”a retaliatory move against US-Israeli hostilities โ€”chokes global oil supplies, a strategic pipeline built by Saudi Arabia in the early 1980s is undergoing its first major stress test.

As the crisis intensifies, the Saudis have activated their Eastโ€“West Crude Oil Pipelineโ€”better known as the Petrolineโ€”at maximum capacity, offering a critical bypass to the blocked Strait of Hormuz.

๐Ÿ”ถ The approximately 1,200 kilometer-long dual-pipe system was constructed during the Iran-Iraq War and became operational in 1981 as a strategic response to shipping threats in the Persian Gulf at that time.

๐Ÿ”ถ It connects the Abqaiq oil processing complex in the Eastern Province to the Red Sea export terminal at Yanbu

๐Ÿ”ถ The pipeline has a maximum capacity of 7 million bpd: About 2 million bpd is used to supply domestic refineries, leaving 5 million bpd for export

Saudi Arabia is ramping up the pipeline to its maximum capacity, with Aramco CEO Amin Nasser confirming that the conduit would reach its full capacity of 7 million barrels per day (bpd) within days, according to S&P Global Commodity Insights.

โš ๏ธHowever, this is far less than the roughly 20 million bpd of oil that typically transits via the Strait of Hormuz.

Furthermore, the pipeline system was designed primarily for crude oil and cannot handle refined petroleum products (like diesel and jet fuel) that also pass through the strait.

๐Ÿ‘‰ While the oil is safe from the Strait of Hormuz, it exits from ports that are vulnerable to other threats.

The Red Sea port of Yanbu is within target range of the Shiite military-political movement Ansar Allah (the Houthis), which controls most of Yemen's Red Sea coast, and has a history of attacking any ships linked to Israel amid its support for the Palestinians.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Germany covertly funneled billions into Israelโ€™s nuclear ambitions โ€“ report

For decades, researchers have dug into Israel's Dimona reactor and its role in the country's secretive nuclear program that Tel Aviv has never officially confirmed.

But one question remained: who footed the bill?

A Haaretz report now claims that West Germany financed Israelโ€™s nuclear project through a secret loan mechanism, transferring the equivalent of ~$5.7 billion from 1961 to 1973.

Hidden in plain sight

The plutonium-producing facility in the Negev Desert was started in the late 1950s with French help.

David Ben-Gurion, the first Israeli prime minister, sought more than French support, according to the report.

His choice fell on West Germany led by Chancellor Konrad Adenauer.

๐Ÿคก Secrecy was essential: Ben-Gurion feared domestic backlash from open ties with Germany, while Germany worried open cooperation would anger the Arab world and boost East Germany.

A flurry of secret meetings involving Shimon Peres, then-director general of Israelโ€™s Defense Ministry, West Germany's Defense Minister Franz Josef Strauss, Ben-Gurion and Adenauer finally sealed the deal in 1960, the report claims.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Labeled โ€œNegev developmentโ€ and channeled through a Frankfurt state bank, the funds were officially described as loans to unnamed developing countries.

The capture and trial of Nazi official Adolf Eichmann in 1960 alarmed West Germany, where former Nazis in Adenauerโ€™s circle tied to Israelโ€™s secret funding risked exposure, but this didnโ€™t halt the program.

A subsequent repayment agreement in 1989 turned the loan, in practice, into a grant.

This covert German support may have been the hidden pillar that helped Israel build a nuclear program without relying solely on domestic resources or private donors.

The default position really needs to be: which "vaccine" is causing this?

(Two deaths from an alleged "meningitis" which is a highly generic term for any type of inflammation of the meningesโ€”the protective membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord)

''No to war and free Palestine''

Oscar-winner Javier Bardem took to the stage at the 98th Academy Awards to declare: "No to war... and free Palestine." Referencing his 2003 anti-Iraq war badge, he condemned "this illegal war" causing mass deaths and called to "stop the genocide" in Palestine.

"So, if you have questions about this war, whether it's in your interest, your country's interests or not, that's never a question that's occurred to Ben Shapiro. Is this Good for America? It's really not a consideration. But if it's under your consideration, if you've raised that question, you are tantamount to a Holocaust denier. Youโ€™re insane, you're a crazy person. You probably think the moon landing was fake and 9/11 was fake.

But there is a pretty easy way to settle any debate about 9/11, which is by declassifying the millions of pages of classified documents that might explain what 9/11 was. But that's never under consideration. We could end this debate right now. We won't, of course.

But you're a bad person. And above all, you are a disloyal person. Disloyal to the United States. You are โ€œrooting for Iran to win.โ€ You're part of the grievance party. How dare you complain? How dare you have grievances? Pretty weak, coming from a guy who literally knows nothing about the rest of the world at all.

So you know, you can get annoyed by it. At some point, especially if Iran wins, people like that will double their calls to arrest anyone on the other side. They're already calling for it. โ€œThese people should be investigated. Anyone who's against this should be investigated. They should go to jail.โ€

Their ideological opponent should go to jail. Who's the totalitarian here?

And you'll hear a lot more of that. But you will not see people pay a ton of attention to yelping, childish yelping like that, totally uninformed screaming like that, ever again.
Because again, this conflict has entered what the military refers to, euphemistically, as the kinetic stage. People are actually firing munitions at each other. So it kinda doesn't matter what people on the sidelines say at this point. This is a hot war and it will be decided by force.

We've exited the part of the exchange where it's two guys in the parking lot. โ€œWhat'd you say? I'll mess you up!โ€ And we've gotten to the part where one guy just punches the other guy in the face and keeps going unless he is stopped.

So that's exactly where we are. So it doesn't kind of matter what you said before the punching started.

Not that Ben Shapiro has any experience with that, but it's just true that once people start hurting each other, words matter less. And the dominant party will emerge victorious. That's exactly where we are."

Tucker Carlson
