Jonathan Hall KC, the UK’s Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, stated in a speech that the "demonisation of Israelis" should be treated as a hate crime under existing laws. 

Speaking at an event hosted by the think tank Policy Exchange, Hall argued that current legal frameworks are not being adequately enforced to protect Israeli citizens or those targeted based on their nationality. 

Hall KC has a family connection to UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) through his father-in-law, Lord Dyson. 

Lord Dyson (John Dyson), a former Supreme Court judge and Master of the Rolls, is a patron of UKLFI.

These links were highlighted by critics and independent journalists in August 2025, leading to accusations of a potential conflict of interest given his role in reviewing terrorism laws that affect pro-Palestinian groups like Palestine Action.

Newly released footage from Iranian media shows the situation was much worse than initially thought.

Thousands of masked and heavily armed individuals backed by foreign intelligence organizations were attacking security forces, civilians, attempting to take control of state institutions, government buildings and police stations across Iran.

Had this unfolded in any other country, the media would be screaming like a man on crack...rushing from corner to corner, shoving cameras into every alley to show you "heavily armed terrorists" roaming the streets.

But not in "Eye-Ran". In Eye-Ran, those same figures are magically rebranded as "peaceful protesters". No hysteria, no breaking news countdown, no ominous graphics..just a masterclass in narrative laundering, where the weapons disappear, the violence is blurred, and reality is politely edited out.

In the mockumentary series “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘞𝘦 𝘋𝘰 𝘐𝘯 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘴” , satire meets something eerily predictive. One character in the show, 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘯 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘯, is an “𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦”- doesn’t bite necks or sleep in coffins. He siphons life-force through the internet. Typing mundane, infuriating, or divisive comments from dozens of fake accounts, he explains how digital rage is now the modern day bloodletting. And while it’s meant to be viewed as just comedy, what it reveals is disturbingly accurate & very real…

In an age where 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 & 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺, there are entities- human & non-human, organic & synthetic, that function exactly as Colin functions on the series: as 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 across various social media platforms. Some are bored individuals & others are more deliberate- you post something uplifting, empowering, or paradigm-shifting, & suddenly here comes the hive-mind swarm: sarcastic hate, passive-aggressive “jokes,” & comment threads designed not to debate an actual point, but to pull you into the feeding/looshing loop…

So while the scene plays for laughs, it also showcases a deeper warning: 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦/ 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺. Not every post or comment deserves your attention. Not every harassment is from a human. And not every battle is yours to fight when the war is spiritual…
