British PM Declares London 'Will Never Stop Selling Weapons To Israel'
The announcement comes a month after the Labour government suspended less than 10 percent of active arms export licenses to Israel
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer declared that his government “will never stop selling weapons to Israel” during a speech at the House of Commons on 7 October.
His statement came in response to a question by MP Zarah Sultana, who pressed Starmer on whether London would “finally do what’s legally and morally right and end the government’s complicity in Israeli war crimes by banning all arms sales to Israel, including F-35 fighter jets, not just 30 licenses.”
“No,” Starmer replied bluntly. “But it is a really serious point. Banning all sales would mean none for defensive purposes. None for defensive purposes on the anniversary of 7 October and days after a huge attack by Iran into Israel would be a wrong position for this government and I will not take it,” Starmer said.
His statement came during a solemn session to mark the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, which saw the killing of about 1,200 Israelis – many of them at the hands of their own army under the Hannibal Directive.
Starmer’s assertion came days after French President Emmanuel Macron called for a halt on arms deliveries to Israel.

The Afghan national accused of an Election Day plot in the US was working for the CIA
Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, accused of plotting an ISIS-inspired Election Day terror attack in the US worked for the CIA in Afghanistan, according to a new report.
He was nabbed in Oklahoma on Monday over the alleged terror plot, he was employed as a security guard for the spy agency but was not a CIA informant, NBC News reported. It means Tawhedi should have been heavily screened before entering the country, according to NBC sources. - RT

Israeli police arrested a Grayzone journalist and still have him in custody — social media
Jeremy Loffredo an online journalist for the Grayzone media outlet reported on the attacks in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon in the last video he recorded before being arrested, according to social media reports.
He was among four journalists beaten, kidnapped, blindfolded, detained, and sent to an Israeli military base, according to Grayzone.
The other 3 have been released. He remains in Israeli custody as of now, his X account has been locked, as his phone taken.

"I told the ambassador to tell the Israeli government that the United Nations and Italy cannot take orders from the Israeli government".

CHEMICAL LEAK LOCKDOWN IN TEXAS
"Authorities have issued shelter-in-place orders due to a hydrogen sulfide spill at an oil refinery in Deer Park
A chemical accident at the Deer Park oil refinery in Texas reportedly killed two people and injured five others on Thursday.
Authorities have urged locals to remain indoors and keep their air conditioners off until the all-clear is given.
The leak was reported at around 4:40pm local time, triggering emergency protocols. According to initial reports, a contractor working at the refinery, owned by the Mexican state petroleum company Pemex, accidentally opened a line containing highly toxic hydrogen sulfide gas.
The contractor is one of the two individuals believed to be dead. Authorities have only confirmed one fatality, but a second body was seen being airlifted from the scene by a Life Flight helicopter.
In response to the leak, a shelter-in-place order was issued for all residents of Deer Park and the surrounding areas. The nearby city of Pasadena issued a similar order.
Residents have been advised to remain indoors, close their windows and doors, and keep their air conditioners turned off until the all-clear is given.
Hydrogen sulfide is used in various industrial processes, including petroleum production and refining. Prolonged exposure to high concentrations of the gas can be fatal." - RT

A chemical accident at the Deer Park oil refinery in Texas reportedly killed two people and injured five others on Thursday.
Authorities have urged locals to remain indoors and keep their air conditioners off until the all-clear is given.
The leak was reported at around 4:40pm local time, triggering emergency protocols. According to initial reports, a contractor working at the refinery, owned by the Mexican state petroleum company Pemex, accidentally opened a line containing highly toxic hydrogen sulfide gas.
The contractor is one of the two individuals believed to be dead. Authorities have only confirmed one fatality, but a second body was seen being airlifted from the scene by a Life Flight helicopter.
In response to the leak, a shelter-in-place order was issued for all residents of Deer Park and the surrounding areas. The nearby city of Pasadena issued a similar order.
Residents have been advised to remain indoors, close their windows and doors, and keep their air conditioners turned off until the all-clear is given.
Hydrogen sulfide is used in various industrial processes, including petroleum production and refining. Prolonged exposure to high concentrations of the gas can be fatal." - RT
