πΊπΈDurov's former press secretary called the US responsible for the arrest of the Telegram founder
"Most likely, this is an attack from the US, which has been hunting Durov for a long time, and Durov has always said this," he said.
He added that there is no point in discussing the actions of the French authorities, since they do not play a role.

US colleges and universities are gearing up to repress renewed pro-Palestine protests as students return to campus this fall
Administratorsβ attempts to repress protests have often centered around claims they are disruptive or disrespectful to those with opposing views.
The American Council of Trustees and Alumni, a conservative non-profit, has presented guidance calling for severe punishment for encampments and alleged βharassmentβ while opposing demonstratorsβ calls for schools to divest from Israeli financial interests. Republican lawmakers, traditionally against ostensible βidentity politics,β have taken to zealously speaking against alleged incidents of antisemitism, perhaps eyeing an opportunity to win support from traditionally Democratic-aligned Jewish voters.
But some groups have denounced the restrictions on free expression. The Association of American University Professors claimed campuses have βhastily enacted overly restrictive policiesβ¦ [which] impose severe limits on speech and assembly that discourage or shut down freedom of expression.β

βWe have been preparing table top exercises,β said State University of New York Chancellor John King, suggesting the lengths to which administrators are going to quash anti-genocide demonstrations. King added the school would focus on encouraging students to βexpress different views respectfully and appropriately.β

"Finding Pavel" - Israel behind Durov arrest by Macron?
"Links allowing anyone to download the breached files were published on TELEGRAM, the popular instant messaging app.
However, they soon began to disappear. One by one, the hacker's Telegram channels were taken down, their users deleted and posts that shared the download links gone.
Since October 7, Israel has faced an unprecedented onslaught of cyber-attacks: accounts of officials and key figures from Israel's security establishment, servers of private firms, military and defense contractors, municipalities, hospitals and even government ministries and key bodies they interact with were all targeted, if not successfully hacked, in a seemingly endless string of attacks, the full extent of which has not yet been made public...
Finding Pavel
...Telegram has proved a massive challenge for Israel since the start of the war. While many tech firms have streamlined mechanisms through which states can reach out to them, Telegram is considered the least cooperative of them all.
More than that, while many social media platforms have invested heavily in moderation, allowing people and organizations to help monitor content β for example, the removal of antisemitic content or posts inciting terrorism or even the removal of videos from the October 7 massacre β Telegram has not. States and users alike have a single email address to which they can send their grievances.
Telegram emerged at the start of the war as a key platform utilized by Hamas' information warfare against Israel, one Israel was unable to properly address, lacking both monitoring capabilities and an understanding of the platform.
Concerned by the wave of pro-Hamas content, which included videos from the actual attack as well as a constant stream of propaganda materials, Israelis in the high-tech industry tried late in 2023 to reach Telegram's founder, Pavel Durov.
Though they successfully contacted Durov, who lives in the UAE, he was unreceptive to these private requests to improve moderation on the platform. Though a few pages linked directly to Hamas' military wing were locally blocked at a later stage, the private initiative failed to gain any real traction with the app's founder.
Sources explain that Google or Meta will take down a page if it is shown to be directly linked to Hamas and Amazon will remove a website for hosting terrorist materials. On Telegram, content cannot be taken down with such arguments. Only clearly stolen goods will be taken down, making content claims the only effective route for Israel's legal authorities."

This guy absolutely nails it. Is he 'a far right racist'?
When I say #UnitedNotDivided I mean we the people, those who value moral behaviour, those who want to live in a civilised free society, good human beings that care about humanity, those who want to focus on what unites us not what divides us, no matter our faith, or colour of our skin, we are one human race.
Don't let the government and their puppet masters win with their engineered hatred, with their sinister plans to divide and conquer, but stand #UnitedNotDivided on Wednesday 4th September in Parliament Sq, London at 12 pm

Telegram has over 950 million monthly active users, a significant figure, though still only a third of Facebook's user base. This suggests that over 2 billion people, previously unaware of Telegram, now know about it following Durovβs arrest. They have the option to switch from a platform criticized for its collaboration with the CIA to one led by a man who, after being arrested by neoliberals, is rightfully seen as a defender of free speech and privacy.
Recall that at some point, Russian oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky designated Jacob Rothschild as his "trusted person," granting Rothschild the right to assume all of Khodorkovsky's voting powers if he ever suspects Khodorkovsky is acting under pressure. Durov is certainly aware of this legal maneuver.
Keep in mind that Durov has never renounced his Russian citizenship.
Note that Durov was in Azerbaijan at the same time as Putin and his trusted advisors.
Assume that by providence, Durov was born a genius, causing his actions and behavior to often appear incomprehensible to ordinary peopleβsometimes even seeming strange or otherworldly.
Remember that Durov has consistently expressed his commitment to protecting Telegram, highlighting its role in promoting free speech and privacy. He likely sees his creation as a child for whom he would sacrifice a great dealβeven his own freedom.
Now, let the good conspiracy theories flood your brainβand enjoy!
