"Scientists studying other coronaviruses have long suspected that the spike protein contributed to damaging vascular endothelial cells, but this is the first time the process has been documented.
In the new study, the researchers created a “pseudovirus” that was surrounded by SARS-CoV-2 classic crown of spike proteins, but did not contain any actual virus. Exposure to this pseudovirus resulted in damage to the lungs and arteries of an animal model—proving that the spike protein alone was enough to cause disease. Tissue samples showed inflammation in endothelial cells lining the pulmonary artery walls.
The team then replicated this process in the lab, exposing healthy endothelial cells (which line arteries) to the spike protein. They showed that the spike protein damaged the cells by binding ACE2. This binding disrupted ACE2’s molecular signaling to mitochondria (organelles that generate energy for cells), causing the mitochondria to become damaged and fragmented.
Previous studies have shown a similar effect when cells were exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but this is the first study to show that the damage occurs when cells are exposed to the spike protein on its own.
“If you remove the replicating capabilities of the virus, it still has a major damaging effect on the vascular cells, simply by virtue of its ability to bind to this ACE2 receptor, the S protein receptor, now famous thanks to COVID,” Manor explains. “Further studies with mutant spike proteins will also provide new insight towards the infectivity and severity of mutant SARS CoV-2 viruses.”
The researchers next hope to take a closer look at the mechanism by which the disrupted ACE2 protein damages mitochondria and causes them to change shape."

SPI-M-O, who do the modelling for SAGE (Scientific Advisory Group on Emergencies) is concerned that the way COVID-19 deaths have been defined for the last year, i.e. anyone who dies within 28 days of a positive PCR test, is a ‘COVID-19 death’, won't look good for the vaccine.

A senior SAGE source said: “If the definition remains the same, these people would be counted as ‘vaccine failures’, whereas the vaccine prevented death from Covid, but they really died from something else. I suspect that the current definition will have to be revised at some point.”

So what SAGE is saying, is that this definition of a Covid death that’s been used for the last year is complete and utter nonsense, and it’s always been nonsense, as many of us have always said, but it has suited the government to use that definition, because it’s allowed them to maintain a certain level of fear in the population up until now. But at this stage, with the vaccine roll out, this definition of death no longer suits the narrative, so it needs to be changed.

Robin - This is worth a read in relation to protection from spike proteins. N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is widely available as a supplement online (I have some in my cupboard). In Spain it is offered otc in pharmacies as a mucolytic for respiratory illnesses. Not so in the UK but as I said is available online.

I am sure this above happening with the vaccine spike protein was not the scientists' original intentions, or this study would not only reveal this now. However the testing of the vaccine spike was it seems on rodents rather than humans - "distribution studies. These were done two ways – by using an mRNA for luciferase (and thus looking at the resulting light emission from the various rodent regions!) and by using a radioactive label (which is a more sensitive technique). The great majority of the radioactivty stays in and around the injection site. In the first hours, there’s also some circulating in the plasma. But almost all of that ended up in the liver, and no other tissue was much over 1% of the total" - and it acknowledges this: "Some of the vaccine dose is going to make it into the bloodstream, of course." In some cases this can be enough for significant damage. It is clearly not in the majority of cases but this should not be experimented on people who statistically have a very low chance of death from Covid19. Theory rarely matches reality when it comes to experiments and we need to take on board the significant numbers of VAERS and ask whether anybody not at significant risk of death should be exposed to them given there is also an unknown antibody-dependent enhancement risk which would only surface next December at the latest.
