Security Service of Ukraine officers came to the vicar of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavlo, to hand him a suspicion. The militants drove his subdeacons out of the metropolitan's chambers and do not allow anyone inside. The Metropolitan is to be interrogated and is to be placed under house arrest.

Earlier, the vicar of the Lavra called on Zelensky to come to his senses and threatened with celestial punishment for the repression of the monks. He also said that Ukrainian security forces were preparing to storm Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The situation around the monastery has been quite tense for days, but the parishioners continue to defend the shrine.
