I’m on record of having commented that, during my decade in the hothouse field of biotechnology companies, there were a few where, having heard the pitch, smelled a rat.
One was Theranos, who’s CEO, Elizabeth Holmes, made claims that I was almost certain were fraudulent. Her company raised huge sums on the promise of “a lab on a chip” which would enable simultaneous measurements of dozens of biological materials in a pin prick of blood. I knew that several of the endpoints claimed required larger volumes of blood than could be reliably obtained by using a lancet on a fingertip.
There were numerous other unlikely claims. She would give non-answers to technical queries & some answers contained technically incorrect information. Long & short, I joined the quiet cohort of scientists with who expected a crash & burn ending. Check out the trial news for the latest. She paid a huge fine, was banned for a mere ten years from being a director or officer of a public company. She may yet face jail time.
Another was Moderna. As I’ve said before, the promise of RNA from RNAi, where gene selective knock down was proven in vitro, in cells in culture. Huge problems with getting the RNA inside cells SAFELY have dogged the whole field from the very beginning.
The techniques we used a decade plus ago involved unacceptable chemical solvents, high voltages & more.
We’re trying to do something that nature opposes violently, to force genetic material from outside into living cells without poisoning them.
The problem wasn’t faintly solved by 2011.
We knew that it could be disguised by formulating the RNA in fat & water “lipid nanoparticles”, but it was I believe well known in industry circles that this itself wasn’t without safety issues.
Moderna never published any science. That was an astonishing fact. Yet it raises hundreds of millions of dollars, first from private venture capital firms (the sort of investors I tapped to finance Ziarco, of which I was founder & CEO).
How did they raise record amounts of cash like that, then eventually “float”, becoming a public company, who’s shares are freely traded?
I could see certain diseases, where death was almost certain, and for which there were no treatments, as suitable testing grounds for whatever tecnokogg Moderna then possessed. Why? Because safety is critically dependent upon the untreated clinical conditions

But having agreed a package, why would these top scientists resign 18 months later? There aren’t many good reasons. One might be ill health, but that’s inconsistent with their having subsequently taken new biotech posts. Another could be a falling out with the CEO. Finally, discovering that the technology is broken.

You see, I can accept the argument “let’s try vaccines to prove the concept clinically & to obtain much safety data” on one of two grounds.
The first ground is specified in the page image & it’s that “very few doses will be required”.
It’s likely to be true that fewer dosing occasions may limit the potential for unacceptable toxicity to emerge.
But the second ground is totally missing. Good grounds would be that the clinical condition is one in which death is likely without this experimental intervention.
But by definition, vaccines are often given to hundreds of times more healthy people than the numbers who otherwise would get infected, fall ill & then die.
Healthy people NOT likely to be at high risk without the intervention.
A mass, public health measure, like vaccination, is absolutely not the place to trial difficult & uncertain technology like this. It’s all but certain to yield stacks of adverse events.
So it has proven. See? I said that the reasoning wasn’t hard to follow.
The Moderna story still stinks. And I don’t trust the CEO further than I could throw him.

This in reference to my observation that biotech company, Theranos, was a fraudulent operation.
I’ve no idea what leads people to think they can fool everyone, indefinitely. Perhaps the CEO believed her own hype & thought she’d solve the problems? In which case she’s even more delusional than she seemed!
By the way, these kinds of trial are appropriate for each of the seniormost staff at Moderna, BioNTech, Pfizer & JNJ. Those involved in setting the technical parameters for the fraudulent vaccines knew what they were doing couldn’t work safely.
Choosing lipid nanoparticle technology as formulations (Pfizer / BioNTech & Moderna) was known years before to result in a drug product which accumulated in the ovaries.
And choosing spike protein wasn’t a casual error. You don’t do anything casually in human healthy drug / treatment R&D. Where’s the internal reports showing they considered multiple alternative immunogen than spike protein? And isn’t it astonishing that all four companies all chose the same, inappropriate virus component to target?

It's effectively a ponzi scheme.
Businesses are issued carbon licenses to emit x quantity of carbon.
They can sell excess carbon permits on the market, or buy more if they need to emit more emissions.
Now they want the public paying into this system.
Its a bit like the failed milk quota system which routinely screwed dairy farmers and, when it finally collapsed, left them with a damaged business holding worthless pieces of paper.
So, whose pocket does the loot end up in?

Known as MITRE, the organization is a non-profit corporation led almost entirely by military-intelligence professionals and sustained by sizable contracts with the Department of Defense, FBI, and national security sector.
Indeed, the involvement of the military-intelligence apparatus in the development of a digital vaccine passport system is yet another indication that behind the guise of public health concerns, the US surveillance state could be due to enhance its control over an increasingly restive population....
It is led almost entirely by former Pentagon officials and ex-intelligence operatives.
In recent years, MITRE has designed surveillance technology for the FBI which collects human fingerprints from social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. It has also helped the FBI establish the Next Generation Identification system, reportedly the world’s largest database of biometric information, as well as the bureau’s Modernized Intelligence Database (MIDB) project.
Among the members of MITRE’s own COVID-19 coalition is Palantir, a private intelligence firm founded in 2003 by Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel. Palantir has established itself as a leader in predictive policing programs and raked in lucrative contracts with the CIA. The firm once participated in a proposed smear campaign against anti-corporate activists and journalistic critics including Glenn Greenwald.
Avril Haines, the current Director of National Intelligence and CIA’s former Deputy Director was paid $180,000 to consult for Palantir – a gig she scrubbed from her bio.....
Haines emphasized to fellow panelists the need to counter criticism of the official pandemic response by “flood[ing] the zone with trusted sources” of media and cultural influencers “in order to try to amplify the message that’s coming through.”

The DHSC has however refused to disclose which databases, already held by the NHS, Palantir has access to. This was redacted in the contract.
The development comes amidst the planning of major changes to the NHS by the Government, with new legislation to centralise its control under ministerial direction. The changes have already begun to take place – as seen by the announcement of a new UK Health and Security Agency, combining the Test and Trace programme and the new Joint Biosecurity Centre. This also has a huge database which the department insists is not connected to the Palantir database.
“After months of legal battles for transparency over these massive NHS data deals, we’re glad the UK Government has finally admitted it had no business installing a controversial ‘spy tech’ firm like Palantir permanently in our NHS without asking people first,” Mary Fitzgerald, editor-in-chief of openDemocracy, said.
“But there’s still work to do. Deep concerns remain about whether Palantir, with its chequered history and close ties to the security services, will undermine trust in the NHS – and damage public health as a result.”
Martha Dark, Foxglove director, added: “Make no mistake: if we don’t deal with Palantir today, it’ll be Google tomorrow. If you believe Matt Hancock, we’re on the brink of a revolution over how this country’s health data is handled. But who will this brave new world benefit? We’ve all got to speak up if we want our future NHS to serve patients, not profit.”
