Cases are analysed into Serious and Non Serious Reports in the Canadian Adverse Events Database and also whether an adverse event was reported after the first, second or third dose of a Covid-19 Injection as shown in the table above by injection manufacturer
Over 25% of all adverse reports are deemed to be serious in nature
The data suggests many more serious events are reported after the first dose of Pfizer and AstraZeneca and that with the Moderna injections there are almost as many serious reports after the second dose as with the first.
Overall, the majority of adverse event reports were noted as being from females (74.9%) and the reporting rate for females was 54.7 reports per 100,000 doses administered, compared to 19.3 per 100,000 doses administered for males. However, the reporting system notes that within the 12 to 17 year age group, the proportion and reporting rate for males and females was similar.

"COVID Passes will now be required in cinemas, theatres and concert halls across Wales after the Senedd voted to extend the scheme.
The Passes are already required to be shown by anyone who attends a nightclub or a large event like a major sports match.
When the scheme was launched a few weeks ago, the initial vote was carried out amid chaotic scenes, with one member - who was trying to vote remotely while attending the Conservative Party conference - unable to cast his ballot.
By comparison, today's vote on extending the scheme was a more sedate affair, and passed mainly because Plaid Cymru members - who had opposed the government's handling of the original proposals - this time voted in favour.
The Senedd voted by 39 members to 15 to extend the scheme. There were no abstentions."
