I've been having a pretty hard time with things lately. I've had some pretty rough things happen over the last few months, and recently had to draw my social circles pretty close.
It hasn't been fun, or easy, and it's always sad when you have to cut ties with people you considered friends. But as a very good friend of mine put it: it's up to you to decide who you make space for at the table, and not everyone deserves to sit there.
Other dear friends of mine recently have said they're going through some issues too similarly, and it often surprises me that in a community as full of neurodivergent people and as open about mental health issues as the furry community is, that people aren't more considerate, kind and understand of people's issues, regardless of how they've come to know someone else, or their relationship to them.

I am hoping to get my channel back into life a bit as I get back into my art and creativity a bit more. More writing, more art of my own, and more fun stuff.
I know it won't be for everyone, and a lot of people are just here to see my lewd art and kink lists or stuff, but that's okay - not everything has to be for everyone, but I hope those of you that enjoy what I have to offer will stay around and be here for it, and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Be kind to one another, be kind to your friends, and be understanding.

I got my markers out recently, and did some art for the first time in a long time. With some help from a couple of other artist friends advising on what kinds of paper worked best (Bristol Board FTW ❤️) I did something I'm pretty pleased with.
Wanted to do some more art and get some more that shows other aspects of Rhona as a character beyond her sex appeal, as she has a huge and full backstory and world.

I also got my pencils out again, and while some of the colours on this didn't come out quite as well as I'd like - which comes from using pencils from different sets and them not blending well, because of mixed mediums - I am pleased with it on the whole. I wanted to go for something a bit more introspective and melancholy, as I've never drawn her like that before, and that's also a part of her personality and story: loss, betrayal and being hurt.

I've also started subtly introducing some new design changes over time too. Some nicks and scars, some age lines, and a little more emphasis on the fact she has muscle as well as softness, as befitting someone with an extensive military background and a hard life
