Random thoughts on the 14 hour plane ride to NZ/AUS:
My wife brought me up to speed on a new, massive NATO exercise happening this spring in Europe. Could be preparation for the real thing.
However, we also have “disease X” being bantered about like it’s inevitable. Either way, the democrats in DC will declare another Covid like lockdown for war or plandemic (think WW2 style rationing, internment camps for non patriots, etc.) which will trigger a response from republicans states who won’t comply.
This is the intended reaction and will be just-cause for the Biden Administration to declare martial law, or some derivation of it, which then Republican states will not adhere to, causing a civil war like standoff keeping the democrats permanently in power in DC.
The Republican states may continue to hold an election in November, and then we get into a scenario where some states recognize DC and Biden as their authority, while other states will not.
This would absolutely squash the next election from happening forever.
