## BTNScan Update 🔥

We've successfully deployed the latest version of BTNScan, with some substantial updates and a new proprietary subgraph to help indexing transactions and contract interactions:

- All token txns and contract interactions are now being indexed, and we opted to render it with a familiar UI for easy reading, similar to the one you find on Etherscan
- The explorer now supports all tokens, and we will be working to make them display automatically, without the need for us to whitelist it first
- Added a dedicated Token Transactions tab on the Address View page, where you can now see a full history of token trades, transfers, etc
- Addresses now display a total "Net Worth" in USD, which is the sum of the BTN and token holdings at current market prices
- Search bar now available in all pages - look up the header if you're not at the home page
- General UI improvements
- Minor bug fixes across the platform

# Xenwave 2.0 Release Announcement

We are thrilled to announce the release of Xenwave 2.0 Beta on Bitnet. The new platform means a quantum leap from where it was before, and a departure from a DeFi-only focus to a much broader and meaningful purpose, which is to create the greatest Web 3 application to promote creativity, productivity, and socialization across the blockchain community and beyond. Our new motto represents that goal: Make. Do. Talk.

As we invested all the time, effort, and resources into making this platform a reality, we also understand that our precious Bitnet community is still in its infancy, which results on a slower pace of growth and perhaps less users than if we were doing this on one of the big names in the industry, but this is a chance we were willing to take because we believe in Bitnet, in its purpose, in its cause, and in its long-term success. Xenwave is, and will remain, a Bitnet exclusive. We will count on YOU to help us in this journey and bring your friends, family, and pets on to use Xenwave.

One important note is that this is just the beginning and there are so much more that we will be working on throughout the year that it definitely worth to keep yourself tuned in.

Zara is in DEMO mode! And you can get a taste for how it is going to look like when fully released. The DEMO has limited functionality and only supports 3 interactions (or 6 messages) per prompt, but despite these limitations it is still very useful and powerful, so give it a try!

We also made Xenwave 2.0 mobile-ready! For now you can use it with your Metamask Mobile, and we will be working to implement support to all major mobile wallets in the near future, including Coinbase Wallet and Trust Wallet.

This update brings a series of UX quality improvements and minor bug fixes across the entire UI. We are currently working on additional wallet integrations for an improved mobile experience, but as it is users can already use Xenwave with their Metamask mobile browser seamlessly.

- Added user search; now users will show alongside posts on your search results.
- Increased the max upload size from 1Mb to 4Mb for posts.
- Videos now auto-play muted when users scroll through them on your feed.
- Adjusted image lightbox (full screen) for a better and smoother UX.
- Fixed a bug where $ denominations were being shown as stock marks on posts.
- Fixed a bug where the "Show new posts" button was wrongly triggered on the profile and search pages.

# Xenwave Update Note

We have now integrated Wallet Connect with Xenwave, expanding support for more than one hundred different Web 3 wallets. This is a particularly good news for mobile users, that now will be able to use Xenwave directly on their browser and connect with Metamask via Wallet Connect, improving the screen real estate and the overall user experience. Now you can also bookmark Xenwave to add it to your phone or table's home screen - feels much more like an app when you do that.

- Improve the post text formatter, that new correctly redirects @mentions and $STOCK marks.

You can now create payment links, request payments, and create payment buttons to integrate with your own website, application, blog, or e-commerce store. This easy-to-use tool enhances XenwavePay™ functionalities and brings yet another tangible and real use-case for Xenwave and the Bitnet network. Payment buttons' integration is as easy as copying and pasting the output code into your own application or website. Buttons can be fully customized using HTML styling, but users will count on two elegant pre-factored styles. This feature is FREE, and there's no fees or cuts for payments received through XenwavePay™ - you will get 100% of the total payment amount. Users can easily share their payment links on other social media networks using their mobile devices or simply sending it directly to the intended recipient. The module currently supports the following tokens:

- Bitnet (BTN), Stratus (STRAT), ReUSDT (ReUSDT), and yes BitPepe (BPEPE) 🔥

This update also brings important and significant UI and UX updates, as well as bug fixes:

- Improved search algorithm
- Attending community feedback, we have redesigned the main feed, and now the search bar is located on the header instead of on top of the post component, and we have removed the "Topics" selection from the main page; now you can navigate through different topics using the search results page on your mobile device

Slowly but surely we are making Xenwave even more awesome 😎 we are now introducing a new concept of "befriending" to the platform: two users will automatically become friends when there's mutual following between them. This new feature will be used alongside other features we may be introducing in the near future - such as phone calls or DMs for example - to limit the reach of personal and one-to-one interactions, thus protecting users from spam and undesired contact. It's simple, straightforward, and does not require any additional input from the users - if you follow someone that follows you back, you two will be listed as friends. Unreciprocated followings remain anonymous.

Zara is now out of DEMO mode and into Beta! We have made several improvements to Zara's API and now, for a limited time, the amount of direct exchanges with Zara per prompt has increased from 6 to 10. Once Premium subscription is officially rolled out, Premium users will have access to an even more comprehensive AI experience across the platform.

We have also taken this update to concentrate a lot more in restructuring and "cleaning up" the backend code, so you have a smoother experience overall while using Xenwave. A lot of this are things that are not immediately obvious to the frontend user, but will become more evident as you use the app and encounter less glitches, bugs, and more consistency across different modules.

Update Summary:
- Improved loading speeds across the entire application
- Zara is now on Beta and no longer in DEMO mode
- Number of direct interactions per prompt with Zara increased from 6 to 10 (longer conversations!)
- Fixed missing links on the footer of the application

I will be the first to admit that this feature was more difficult to integrate than I thought, but we have made it! 🥂

Users now can use their post settings button to access the Translation Menu and translate the contents of any post in real time to their preferred language. The core feature has been implemented in a way that it will make easier for us to integrate other languages as our user-base grows, but for now the supported languages are:

- English
- Spanish
- Chinese
- Russian
- Indonesian

If your native language isn't yet supported and you want us to extend support for it, just reach out - we are a small team of devs and keen to talk directly with our users to understand their needs and wants 😃

# Xenwave Update :frame_photo: NFT Marketplace BETA!

We're finally rolling out Bitnet's first NFT Marketplace! It all comes packaged in a very simple and easy to use platform, directly integrated into the existing Xenwave app. This integration allows for endless cross-functionality development possibilities that we will be exploring in the future.

The main reason why it took us this long to press on with this release is the inherent maintenance costs we are taking on to sustain the infrastructure necessary to run the marketplace in addition to what we have already released, and with a team of 2 people as we are right now, it can be somewhat scarry. But with your support and the additional momentum it can give to the Bitnet network we will surely be able to keep up!

This is a beta product. It has all the barebone functionalities but there's much more to be done, and we are aware of it. For now, you will be able to:

- Store, visualize, and manage your own NFTs,
- Buy and sell supported NFTs from/to other users in the community via the marketplace,
- Access supported collections with insights, previews, and lots of interesting analytics,
- Mint your own NFT and leave your permanent mark in the Bitnet network,
- Directly transfer your owned NFTs to other users,

Right now, the only two collections supported are the Community Collection and The Village, but we expect that soon we will have more creators deploying more collections that will be able to list and offer support on. Alongside the marketplace, we are launching an exclusive NFT collection called The Village, which is a one-for-one NFT collection with 128 exclusive art pieces dark-medieval themed. This collection will serve as a catalyst for community support and the funds gathered on the minting and further royalties will be used to help us fund and maintain the NFT marketplace. I have personally put a lot of work in these NFTs and really enjoy them. You can use the link above to mint yours at a cost of 75 BTN per NFT, and as said above, funds will be used to help with the platform infra costs. With that said, I want to stress that YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THEM, they are there for those who can and want to support, and if you can't or just don't want to, your presence in the community and usage of the platform is already awesome and of great help!

1. This is a BETA/TESTING release, so expect bugs and glitches. You can report them directly to us on Discord by opening a support ticket.

2. For now, we are using a public IPFS gateway to fetch the IPFS content, and that means that NFTs will unfortunately load slowly at times. There's certainly better ways to go about this, but they are very costly and outside of the scope of what we can do right now. We will deploy our own gateway as soon as we have the financial backing to do so.

There was a feature I have been wanting to add for a while now that I've decided to finally code and add to the app, which is the ability of seeing each other's wallet, assets held, and financial info. Now, there's an additional tab in the profile page called "Wallet" and through there you will be able to see all the aforementioned information compiled in an easy-to-understand manner. We've also fixed some annoying bugs and improved a few UI elements. Including improvements to the way the app deals with single users with multiple wallets, by modifying the authentication function - now every time the app detects an invalid token, a button next to "My Profile" will show, labelled "Update Security Token". Clicking on this button will result in a signature request to be sent to your wallet, and the new auth token should replace the invalid one after you sign it. Full list of changes below:

- New feature "Wallet" allow users to view any user's financial information directly on the profile page, with no need to navigate to the explorer to do so,
- Improved the way in which the profile information is displayed, and now users can click on the profile's wallet to navigate to its page on BTNScan,
- Improved the NFTs rendering method in the profile page,

- Fixed a bug where sometimes the feed "blinked" repeatedly when refreshing posts,
- Improved multi-wallet compatibility - we expect users to have less auth issues now when using multiple wallets,
