Main Causes
• High blood pressure
• Smoking, diabetes, high cholesterol
• Physical inactivity & obesity

Prevention
Control blood pressure & blood sugar
Eat healthy, stay active
Don’t smoke, limit alcohol

Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral illness that can escalate quickly if not recognized early. Awareness and prevention are key.

🌡️ Common Symptoms:

Sudden high fever
Severe headache
Pain behind the eyes
Joint & muscle pain
Skin rash
Nausea or mild bleeding (nose/gums)

🛡️ Prevention Tips:

Remove standing water (pots, containers, drains)
Install window/door screens
Use mosquito repellents
Wear long sleeves when possible
Support regular clean-up efforts

🏥 What To Do If You Suspect Dengue:

Consult a healthcare professional immediately
Stay hydrated (oral rehydration fluids)
Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen unless prescribed
Monitor closely for warning signs
