I Have Never Envied Anyone For Anything ..

Muhammad b. Sirīn (d. 110) said:

“I have never envied anyone for anything.

As if they are from the people of Hell, then how can I envy them for a worldly matter while their destination is Hell?

And if they are from the people of Paradise, then how can I envy a man from its people while Allah has guaranteed for him His Pleasure.”

Muslim (a narrator) said:

I have not heard anything better than this from the speech of Ibn Sirīn.

Does Your Family Treat You Unjustly?

Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Bin Ghaleb Al-Omari حفظه الله said:

Be good to your relatives and loved ones even if they're cold, harsh, or distant with you.

Don't say: "If they have a need, they keep in touch with me, and if they don't, they cut off from me."

Keep in touch with them yourself, get the reward, and follow the sunnah, as in the hadith:

One who [fully] keeps ties isn't one who [just] reciprocates; rather, the one who [fully] keeps ties is the one who, when his relatives cut off from him [or mistreat] him, he [treats them well and] works to keep ties with them.

Do the Salafis Get Exhausted Constantly Calling to Tawhīd?

Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله said:

“Nuh عليه السلام remained with his people for nine hundred and fifty years, spending his time devoted to calling (the people) to Tawhīd. Thus, it is required from us that we start with that which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ started with, and it was to firstly rectify that which has become corrupt with regards to the ‘aqidah of the Muslims.”

Can You Name Your Cat After The Name Of A Prophet?
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Hope you’re well sister
I wanted to ask if possible to forward the following question to Shaykh Abu Khadeeja for further clarification on the matter:

Question:
A family member has recently taken on a kitten as a pet and has named it Noah. Is this allowed or not as this is the name of a Prophet.
Please could evidence be provided to share with the family member.

بارك الله فيكم

Ustaadh Abu Khadeejah: Wa-alaikumus-salām-wa-rahmatullāhi-wa-barakātuhu.

This is not permissible as it entails belittlement. Shaikh al-Fawzan stated it is not allowed.

Our Trustworthiness In This Da’wah

Al-‘Allamah Rabi’ Ibn Hadi al-Madkhali (رحمه الله) said,

“At the very least, we preserve this Religion with trustworthiness, we convey it to others with trustworthiness, without distortion and without playing with the texts; so that we share in the goodness and benefit the people.”
