“Dear friends,

Yesterday I filed my written resignation with the United Australia Party thus withdrawing my nomination. This was not a decision I made lightly, but after much thought and discussion with my core team (pictured below), I am confident it’s the right thing to do.

On Monday night 8pm AEDT, live on this page, I will explain why I made this decision and announce our exciting plan moving forward.
