Sorry for this late call out! Here is an invitation to a very important meeting concerning the BELA Bill tonight!

Government are saying that 14, 801 of public submissions are in favour of the bill whereas only 10, 128 rejected it.

Pestalozzi Trust are saying that an additional 8294 rejections could be in the unprocessed submissions which would change the above status of the Bill to being not approved by the public.

Referendums. co.za have 50,476 votes against the BELA Bill Vs 299 votes in favour.

This is way more than ALL the submissions!

South Africans have spoken.

If you haven’t already voted please do so now!

Ja nee wat!? The BELA Bill has been approved by the Portfolio Committee On Basic Education and must now go to the National Assembly… and then they will vote - then The Council Of Provinces who must vote too … As part of this process, we, the public might be given a second chance to make our feelings heard at hearings and via written submissions! In the meantime - we can get as many people to vote on the referendum as possible so we well and truly embarrass our government! THIS FIGHT IS NOT OVER
