What’s the job scenario like after taking Commerce in Highschool?
My brother is going to complete his 10th this year and he seems dead set on Commerce but my cousin who ended up choosing Commerce say better go for science if you can considering there will be more options.I honestly kinda side with my cousin as well since most of the successful guys I know who took Commerce are either in Family businesses, Accountants. We don’t have much of a family business nor does he plan to start one and he doesn’t like the idea of accountancy. He says he likes Marketing but I have a feeling he is directionless and hoping Commerce is easier. If he does go with Commerce what courses would you suggest given that he is good at writing (Shitty handwriting though) and has a good eye for design, manipulative and good at reading social cues and body language, reads a lot of things from History, Business to Russian Politics.Help me out here guys, I love this kid but I don’t think I am the best guide and my dad isn’t much of an help except for the money which probably is going to be limited after a while.

Why do young Malayali men have so much attitude?
It's not something I noticed staying only in Cochin, but even in dudes living in Dubai/Manipal/Bangalore as well (the ones who are a lot more in touch with the culture).People my age have a lot of attitude stemming from insecurity in general, but I've noticed it a lot more in men from Kerala. Especially when I speak in English (njan malayali annu but I can't speak it very well), but in Cochin where I speak mostly malayalam even if I have a big smile I'm always met with a smug "enikkariyilla" attitude.A lot of my non-mallu friends from college had the same opinion as well.Doesn't matter where I am, be it while I'm walking at Infopark or at the fucking bookstore in LuLu mall, there's always some douchebag strutting around me in my vicinity (in a way that it's obvious that he's trying to out-macho me) thinking he looks like Jayan but in reality looks like a chicken doing a mating dance, I always ignore them but it's getting annoying at this point.Does it have anything to do with the way I look? I'm a 20 year old male but look like I'm 23-26, and I have a pseudo-hipster look (though not nearly as much as some of the mwonjans and freakens) and am also frequently mistaken for North Indian. I know I can just ignore and move on, but I'm curious to know why.

Research on Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse
In order to participate in the research, click on the given linkhttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ZW3JMXfje0Q1cCbaEi6TJLsbAaVDAyri3NyR0WXV3zQ/edit?usp=drivesdkHello, My name is Srushti. I am 23 years old and currently doing a research project as a part of the M.A Clinical Psychology Course. My research is on adult survivors of child sexual abuse. The reason I chose this topic is because it is a very critical one - survivors experience long term effects of what happened in their past and it debilitates their ability to live life fully and freely as adults to a very significant degree. Often the effects are so subtle that the person may not even be aware of how they are being debilitated.I am conducting this research to understand the general problems and blockages faced by adult survivors of CSA so that it can contribute towards generating intervention and counseling steps/methods/practice ideas to help the survivors.I understand that this is a sensitive matter but the participants' confidentiality is fully maintained in this survey. No details compromising the identity of the person need to be provided in the survey.I hope you will pass this around to your friends (both male and female) and help out in this endeavour.Thank you so much🙏🏾

Tired of CITU trouble, Muthoot Finance says will permanently shut down 346 branches in Kerala. It will try to break the deadlock because of the trade union protests in the gold finance company’s branches in state.

ABCD possibly relocating to Kerala. Any suggestions of cities to move to?
Hi guys. New to this subred and looking to be a regular. I am not literate in Malayalam (yet), so please bear with me.I am looking at the cities of Thriruvalla, Chengannur, Changanassery, and Trivandrum due to family. Might also look at Kochi/Ernakulum. The last time I visited was in 2013, so not sure how much smaller cities like Thiruvalla have improved. Background: Born and raised in the states. Parents looking to retire to Kerala.Would like to have access to:fast, reliable internet (and also electricity that is more reliable than avg)good hospitalsgood shopping centers for electronics/appliances; grocery stores that carry some western itemsdecent gyms to lift or train mma; also access to basketball courtsgood nursing home/retirement communitiesI'm thinking based on this, there are only two choices, Trivandrum and Kochi, right? If so, I would lean towards Trivandrum. Read that it is cleaner, safer, and cheaper (cost of living) than Kochi, and that a new huge mall is opening up next year, which could give me a taste of the West when I occasionally want it.Also, in terms of flooding, would Trivandrum be the least prone to flooding on my list? Thanks for any help.

What's the point of School/College onam trailers?
Are outsiders allowed to participate because often they say 'Save the date'Some schools have random people on instagram wishing the best for celebration in ig stories..Any other new trends?I haven't went to school for the past month and counting so I really don't how they are doing it.

How common is cousin Marriages in Kerala?
In the West it is seen as equal to incest, in the middle east it is really common and the norm in much cases because it helps to keep the wealth in the family.

18am Padi shows what's life like in both schools.
It's such a thoughtful movie, somebody worked really hard to offer the wide prespective from both sides of life. The kids from better means were just spoiled brats, sitting in their own filth while the kids from modest means are more mature. It shows how different is school when you come from different walks of life, one one hand you barely have resources to get by and on the other everything is well funded and waiting to get abused by the kids. The bus fight was incredibly unrealistic imo, what kind of kids run around a bus?The best part of the movie was Arya,Mamooty, Prithvi and A10
