...and we're back to this beautiful, beautiful album, Funky Stuff by Jiro Inagaki, which I've covered back in 2021. Feels like yesterday!
Today I tried with "Painted Paradise", which has a very interesting main theme with some tricky passages.
There are more tracks from this album I might try covering in the future but, as always, if you have other requests, write them in the comments and I'll do my best to learn and play them. Expanding my repertoire is always fun!

It's hard to play and record frequently, so this is just a quick recording of something new to add to my repertoire: Heya, by Taeko Ohnuki, 1978. Wonderful, wonderful track from the beautiful album Sunshower.

I've seen footage from a recent performance by Taeko in LA. For sure her crystalline voice was gone, but the spirit was sure to be there! Same here, same here...

It appears that I'll be playing my repertoire in Spettro next Friday night, May the 8th. Very short time to prepare so many tracks, I feel a little sorry for my neighbors 😅

Topic: Super Nintendo Standards

Friday, May the 8th, I'll be performing some (Super) Nintendo Standards at Spettro (via Soldini 51, Brescia, Italy) , as an opening act to Radio Hito's live concert.

I'll be playing my recorders along with an emulated Super Nintendo sound chip and Paolo Tognazzi's (Psycho Praxis, Black Widow Records) keyboards.
