What a heart warming time playing at the Barn in Ledbury on New Years Day. Robin who runs it is a proper legend. Great bunch of people too. Although after a rendition of The Ballad of a Toolmakers Son there were a couple who were right next to me loudly protesting Starmer’s innocence as head of DPP re the failure to prosecute Saville. It didn’t reach him apparently 🤪 I’m sure those (deputy) heads all rolled subsequently and Starmer was really cross when he found out. The hounding of Julian Assange probably didn’t quite reach him either and nor did the failure to investigate the assassination at Stockwell Station of London Transport electrician Jean Charles da Silva de Menezes in the aftermath of the 7/7 tube bombings. You have to wonder what he knew. Once I got stuck into my song Big Fat Lie, about the fake moon landings, it all became too much for them and they left in a huff. I took that as a request for an encore of the Keir Starmer song :)

The second set was an absolute blast with none of the normie heckling.
