As part of our roadmap to launch the Rain DAO by the end of Q1, we have selected @SnapshotLabs as our official governance platform.

Snapshot is the industry standard for both on-chain and off-chain voting, trusted by major ecosystems like Arbitrum, Uniswap, Lido, and ENS. We’ve updated the Close Market feature with two key improvements to ensure smoother resolutions and protect protocol integrity:

The AI Oracle now verifies if a definitive outcome exists before proceeding. If no answer is available yet, the market remains open, preventing premature closures and ensuring data accuracy.

To prevent abuse of the Close Market feature, we’ve adjusted the commitment bond. The new requirement is 0.1% of market volume or a $100 minimum (whichever is higher). This bond does not apply to market creators.

If the Close Market is activated validly and the market resolves, the bond is returned to the user plus a 0.3% volume reward. This change raises the barrier while maintaining strong incentives for legitimate creators and resolvers.

These updates directly address community feedback regarding "stuck" liquidity and market manipulation.

The irregular activity identified in their credit refund program is unacceptable. This behavior has negatively impacted the $RAIN price and directly jeopardized the interests of our holders.

The first official DAO proposal: Resolution on the Credit Refund Claims Program and $RAIN Market Protection, is now live for the next 24 hours.

Voting is open to all $RAIN holders who have set up their Snapshot account and delegated their voting power.

Voting has officially concluded for our first DAO proposal, "Resolution on the Credit Refund Claims Program and $RAIN Market Protection," with 3 billion voting power participating. True to our promise, the Rain Foundation abstained from voting, leaving the decision entirely in the hands of the community.

Option D (Cash Buyout & Burn) won with over 73% of the vote. Option C (12-Month Lock-Up with Restructured Vesting) received approximately 25%, while the remaining two options also picked up votes from the community.

Under the chosen pathway, the Rain Foundation will provide immediate settlement by purchasing all remaining locked Credit Refund allocations at a fixed price of $0.0031 per token in USDT and permanently burning 100% of the acquired supply. This valuation reflects approximately a 10x return relative to the initial pre-sale price.

Depending on technical requirements, implementation may take anywhere from several days up to approximately 60 days, and exact operational details will be announced soon.
