С приветственными речами к участникам обратились почётные гости, включая Мэра Лейн-Коув, членов парламента, почётных консулов различных государств и представителей местного самоуправления, подчеркнув важность культурного многообразия и вклада национальных сообществ в жизнь Австралии.
🪔 Дивали, известный как Фестиваль Света, символизирует победу света над тьмой, добра над злом и надежды над отчаянием. Его главная идея особенно созвучна атмосфере этого дня, объединившего людей разных культур в духе дружбы, уважения и взаимопонимания.

🪔 The Multicultural Diwali Festival once again brought together communities from diverse cultural backgrounds to celebrate their traditions, creativity, and shared spirit of community. Throughout the day, the precinct was filled with music, dance, colourful national costumes, and meaningful cultural exchange.
Distinguished guests addressed attendees during the event, including the Mayor of Lane Cove, Members of Parliament, Honorary Consuls representing various nations, and local government representatives. In their remarks, they highlighted the importance of cultural diversity and the valuable contribution that community organisations make to Australian society.
🪔 Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. Its message resonated strongly throughout the day as people from different cultures came together in an atmosphere of friendship, respect, and understanding.
One of the highlights of the festival was the vibrant Parade of Nations, alongside a diverse program of cultural performances that showcased the richness and uniqueness of the many communities represented.
