March held in Helsinki in defence of anti-war activist Roman Golikov
Today, 22 May, a support march took place in central Helsinki for Russian anti-war activist Roman Golikov, who was detained by Finnish police on 19 May and faces deportation to Russia. On 21 May, the court found the police's arguments for Roman's detention justified. Deportation is scheduled for 28 May. The action was organised by the Queer Asylum: Finland Association (QA:FI) together with the Finnish anarchist group A-Ryhmä as part of the campaign "FSB:n käsiin, Itärajalle" ("Into the hands of the FSB, to the eastern border").
Despite heavy rain, participants gathered from 15:00 at Asema-aukio in front of Helsinki Central Railway Station. At 16:00 the column began its march through Mikonkatu, Eteläesplanadi, Erottajan aukio, Narinkkatori, Kiasma and Kansalaistori, returning to Asema-aukio by 18:00.
Demonstrators carried yellow-and-black banners featuring the activist's photograph and the text "POLIISI JO KARKOTTAA ROMAN GOLIKOVIN ITÄRAJALLE FSB:N KÄSIIN" ("Police are already deporting Roman Golikov to the eastern border, into the hands of the FSB"), along with placards reading "KARKOTUS SUOMESTA = VANKILA VENÄJÄLLÄ" ("Deportation from Finland = prison in Russia") and "MINULLA EI OLE PAIKKAA MIHIN PALATA. PYYDÄN OIKEUDENMUKAISTA SUOJELUA" ("I have no place to return. I ask for fair protection"). Anti-war white-blue-white flags and QA:FI flags flew above the column.

Context
Roman Golikov, a 32-year-old Russian political activist and opponent of the war, was detained by Finnish police on 19 May at the reception centre in Uusikaupunki and taken to the police station in Turku. Deportation is scheduled for 28 May. As Golikov's foreign passport has expired, deportation via a third country is impossible, and the police have confirmed that removal will take place directly across the closed Finnish-Russian border. In Russia, Golikov — a long-time supporter of the opposition and a donor to the Anti-Corruption Foundation — faces arrest and torture.

QA:FI demands of the Finnish authorities
to suspend the deportation of Roman Golikov pending the final ruling of the Supreme Administrative Court;
to halt the deportation of Russian anti-war activists to Russia across the closed border;
to give individual consideration to each applicant included in the campaign: Roman Golikov, Nikita Belov, Olga Belova, Boris Yudin, Herman Voetski, Vladislav Maslovets, Egor Borisov, and case KHO No. 770/2026.
The campaign is supported by a coalition of organisations including the FoReDi Initiative, the Finnish anarchist group A-Ryhmä and Vapaa Liikkuvuus.

В Хельсинки прошёл марш в защиту антивоенного активиста Романа Голикова
Сегодня, 22 мая, в центре Хельсинки прошёл марш поддержки российского антивоенного активиста Романа Голикова, задержанного финской полицией 19 мая и находящегося под угрозой депортации в Россию. 21 мая суд счёл обонованными доводы полиции по содержанию Романа под стражей. Депортация запланирована на 28 мая. Акция была организована ассоциацией Queer Asylum: Finland (QA:FI) с поддержкой группой финских анархистов "A-Ryhmä" в рамках кампании «FSB:n käsiin, Itärajalle» («В руки ФСБ, на восточную границу»).
Несмотря на проливной дождь, участники собрались с 15:00 на площади Асема-аукио у Центрального железнодорожного вокзала. В 16:00 колонна вышла в шествие через Миконкату, Этеляэспланади, Эроттаян аукио, Наринккатори, Киасма и Кансалаистори, вернувшись к Асема-аукио к 18:00.
Демонстранты несли жёлто-чёрные баннеры с фотографией активиста и надписью «POLIISI JO KARKOTTAA ROMAN GOLIKOVIN ITÄRAJALLE FSB:N KÄSIIN», а также таблички «KARKOTUS SUOMESTA = VANKILA VENÄJÄLLÄ» и «MINULLA EI OLE PAIKKAA MIHIN PALATA. PYYDÄN OIKEUDENMUKAISTA SUOJELUA». Над колонной развевались антивоенные бело-сине-белые и QA:FI флаги.

Контекст
Роман Голиков, 32-летний российский политический активист и противник войны, был задержан финской полицией 19 мая в приёмном центре Уусикаупунки и доставлен в полицейский участок Турку. Запланированная депортация — 27 мая. Поскольку загранпаспорт Голикова просрочен, депортация через третью страну невозможна, и полиция подтвердила, что высылка состоится непосредственно через закрытую финско-российскую границу. В России Голикову, многолетнему стороннику оппозиции и донору Фонда борьбы с коррупцией, грозят арест и пытки.

QA:FI требует от финских властей
приостановить депортацию Романа Голикова до окончательного решения Верховного административного суда;
прекратить депортации российских антивоенных активистов в Россию через закрытую границу;
рассмотреть индивидуальные обстоятельства каждого заявителя в кампании: Романа Голикова, Никиты Белова, Ольги Беловой, Бориса Юдина, Германа Воецкого, Владислава Масловца, Егора Борисова и дела KHO №770/2026.
Кампания получила поддержку коалиции организаций, в том числе Инициативы FoReDi, группы финских анархистов "A-Ryhmä" и Vapaa Liikkuvuus.

Hei! QA:FI osallistuu Helsinki Pride -kulkueeseen jo kolmatta kertaa. Tällä kertaa omistamme esiintymisemme ihmisille Venäjältä, Kazakstanista ja muista maista, joissa queer-identiteettiä vainotaan sekä yhteiskunnan että viranomaisten toimesta. Sensuuri ei ole hyväksyttävää, vainosta ei saa tulla normi, ja rakkaus elää silti! Rakkautta ei voi kieltää!

Hi! QA:FI is taking part in the Helsinki Pride parade for the third time. This time we dedicate our appearance to people from Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries where queer identity is persecuted by both society and the state. The only way to live in such countries is to live “the way you are supposed to”. That means having to wear masks and talk only about the “right” topics — otherwise you run into trouble. At Pride we want to show what life feels like when you cannot be yourself. We consistently defend queer rights, the right to asylum and to a safe life. Censorship is not acceptable, persecution must not become the norm, and love lives on regardless! Love cannot be forbidden!
