Speaking on the People Cabinet podcast, Jon Finer, former Deputy National Security Advisor to President Biden, admitted that the administration did not apply enough pressure on Israel to reduce casualties in Gaza and to increase the flow of humanitarian aid.

This comes after a new investigation by Israeli Channel 13 revealed that officials in the Biden administration admitted they did not pressure Israel to end the ongoing genocide in Gaza, continuing their backing for Israel.

The investigation also pointed out that Biden’s team obstructed efforts to hold Israel accountable for blocking humanitarian aid, despite evidence that settlers looted aid trucks and that Israel prevented the entry of humanitarian supplies into Gaza amid the ongoing genocide.

The Israeli occupation repeatedly treated them inhumanely, beating them and using them as human shields. Detainees also reported being subjected to sleep deprivation, humiliation, threats of harm to them and their families, and attacks by dogs.

“I wished for death to end the nightmare I was living through,” said one freed UNRWA worker after being released.

“Israel could not fight for one day without US backing.”

During the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, American economist Jeffrey Sachs stated that Israel’s wars are American wars, affirming that Israel would not be able to commit the ongoing genocide in Gaza without full complicity from the US through funding and military backup.

Sachs added, “We will never have peace in this region if outside imperial powers like the US are dictating the terms”
