🐍 Python GUI Design: Positioning Buttons with Relative Layout in Kivy
🐍

πŸŽ₯ YouTube Video:
https://youtu.be/e_y_Mg_j4NQ

πŸ”— Source Code:
https://www.samcodehub.com/Kivy/kivy5.html

Description:
kivy.uix.relativelayout. New in version 1.4. 0. This layout allows you to set relative coordinates for children. If you want absolute positioning, use the FloatLayout . The RelativeLayout class behaves just like the regular FloatLayout except that its child widgets are positioned relative to the layout. When a widget with position = (0,0) is added to a RelativeLayout, the child widget will also move when the position of the RelativeLayout is changed. The child widgets coordinates remain (0,0) as they are always relative to the parent layout.

🐍 Complete Guide to Using AnchorLayout in Kivy App: Learn All Possible Positions and Examples - Python GUI Design Tutorial
🐍

πŸŽ₯ YouTube Video:

https://www.samcodehub.com/Kivy/kivy5.html

Description:
kivy.uix.anchorlayout. The AnchorLayout aligns its children to a border (top, bottom, left, right) or center.
AnchorLayout is a layout class in Kivy that allows you to position widgets relative to the edges or center of the layout. It's called "anchor" because you can "anchor" a widget to one or more edges or center of the layout.
An AnchorLayout widget contains a single child widget, and the child is positioned and sized according to its own size_hint and the anchor_x and anchor_y properties of the AnchorLayout. The anchor_x and anchor_y properties determine the position of the child widget within the AnchorLayout relative to the edges or center of the layout.

🐍 StackLayout in Kivy App: Learn All Possible Orientations and Examples
🐍

πŸŽ₯ YouTube Video:
https://youtu.be/PiXFguytcME

πŸ”— Source Code:
https://www.samcodehub.com/Kivy/kivy6.html

Description:
This project is a great example of a Kivy application that creates a visually appealing stack of buttons that can be arranged either vertically or horizontally, depending on the orientation that you set in the StackLayout. The StackLayout is a powerful tool that can be used to arrange children widgets in a way that maximizes space and usability.
This is achieved by automatically fitting as many widgets as possible within the available space, without compromising on the layout's overall aesthetic appeal. One of the most impressive things about the StackLayout is that it can accommodate widgets of varying sizes, ensuring that the individual components of the layout look cohesive and well-organized. Whether you're building a complex user interface or a simple application, this code will help you create a visually stunning and highly functional layout.

🐍 Python Kivy GUI App: Multi-Image Backgrounds & Positioning Techniques
🐍

πŸŽ₯ YouTube Video:
https://youtu.be/CP_6bLmpfOQ

πŸ”— Source Code:
https://www.samcodehub.com/Kivy/kivy7.html

Description:
This code is an example of how to create a simple user interface using the Kivy framework in Python. It defines a main application that displays three images using the AsyncImage widget and a custom layout using CustomLayout. The root widget is defined using BoxLayout and is created in the RootWidget class.

The AsyncImage widget is a specialized image widget in the Kivy library that is designed to efficiently load and display images from external sources, such as the internet. Unlike the standard Image widget, which loads images synchronously and can block the UI while the image is being loaded, the AsyncImage widget loads images asynchronously in the background, allowing the UI to remain responsive during the loading process.

🐍 Button Text Animation in Python Kivy Framework: A Step-by-Step Guide
🐍

πŸŽ₯ YouTube Video:
https://youtu.be/vS1qpE-6hF4

πŸ”— Source Code:
https://www.samcodehub.com/Kivy/kivy8.html

Description:
This code will introduce a simple Kivy application that demonstrates the use of the Kivy Animation module to create an animated button. The application consists of a single button widget that changes color in a loop from red to green and back again.
To create this application, we use the Kivy App class to create a new instance of the application, and the Button widget class to create a new button widget. We then use the Animation class to create a new animation object that animates the color of the button's text from red to green and back again.

Description:
This code creates a simple calculator application using the Kivy framework in Python. The application provides a user interface with a TextInput widget to display the input and output and a grid of buttons for the user to input numbers and operators.
The application allows the user to enter mathematical expressions using the buttons, and when the user presses the "=" button, the application evaluates the expression and displays the result in the TextInput widget. The application prevents two operators from being entered consecutively and does not allow the first character to be an operator.
