This statement isn’t correct. No matter your personal beliefs, an agent was NOT “run over”. Nor is it “hard to believe he’s alive,”

So what happened, here?

Did someone show Trump an AI-edited video? Is it just normal for POTUS to lie on his social media? Or is there something else going on.

"I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense. Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis. They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE. We need to stand by and protect our Law Enforcement Officers from this Radical Left Movement of Violence and Hate!"

Justin Amash: Many People Believe The Legal Threshold For Self-Defense Is Lower For Government Officers Than For Ordinary Citizens. It’s Not.

There’s one simple test for evaluating whether an officer’s use of force was unlawful or justified as self-defense.

Ask yourself: If you, an ordinary citizen, did the same thing the officer did, how would your actions be assessed?

If someone were obstructing a street in your neighborhood, and you demanded they move, and everyone were in the same physical positions and took the same actions, would you be justified in shooting the driver of the vehicle?

I can say, unequivocally, that if you did the same thing the ICE officer in Minneapolis did, you would be found guilty of a crime, and your claim of self-defense would be rejected outright.

Iranian FM: We Don’t Desire A War, But We Are Ready For It

“America and Israel have tested their attack on Iran, and this attack and strategy faced extreme failure. If they repeat it, they will face the same results,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Thursday . “We are ready for any choice. We don’t desire a war but we are ready for it.”

In June, Israel attacked Iran without provocation. The strikes targeted Iranian scientists, officials, military sites, civilian infrastructure, and nuclear facilities. Over 1,000 people were killed in Iran. The US joined the war on Iran and targeted three Iranian nuclear sites.

Last week, Netanyahu met with President Donald Trump in Florida to lobby the American leader to restart the war with Iran. Netanyahu’s claims that the Islamic Republic presents a threat to the Jewish State is disputed by a top Israeli think tank analyst.

“Stability serves [Iran] well, because even when there is no immediate existential threat, instability makes the regime feel challenged,” Danny Citrinowicz, a fellow in the Iran Program at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) and a former head of the Iran desk in the IDF Intelligence Directorate, told yNet .

He continued, “The first objective is to restore order, and to do that, it does not want to find itself in an external confrontation, neither with the United States nor with Israel. The last thing Iran needs right now is to attack Israel or the United States.”

The aggressive war derailed the nuclear talks between the US and Iran. Araghchi said diplomacy between Washington and Tehran was still possible. But I say that the negotiations should be based on mutual respect and mutual interests.” He added, “We believe that once the Americans reach the outcome that constructive and positive negotiations rather than ordering dictation are the framework, then at that time the results of these negotiations become fruitful.”

Israeli forces on Thursday significantly ramped up attacks across Gaza in violation of the US-backed ceasefire deal, killing at least 15 Palestinians , including five children, the Palestinian news agency WAFA has reported.

Israeli attacks on Thursday included the bombing of a tent in the al-Mawasi camp in southern Gaza near Khan Younis, killing at least four people, including children, whose bodies were burned by the attack.

Trump Says He Expects To ‘Run’ Venezuela For Years

President Trump has told The New York Times that he expects to “run” Venezuela for many years following the US attack on Caracas to abduct President Nicolas Maduro.

By “running” Venezuela, the president appears to mean controlling its oil industry and getting access to the country’s vast oil reserves, the largest in the world, for more American companies.

“We will rebuild it in a very profitable way,” he told the paper. “We’re going to be using oil, and we’re going to be taking oil. We’re getting oil prices down, and we’re going to be giving money to Venezuela, which they desperately need.”

When asked how long he expects the US to remain Venezuela’s “political overlord,” three months, six months, or a year, the president said, “I would say much longer.”

Trump has threatened to attack Venezuela again and potentially send troops, but declined to say what sort of situation could lead to that. “I wouldn’t want to tell you that,” he said.
