🙏 IMPORTANT: This year on the “Gregorian Calendar,” Yum Kapar (Day of Atonement) is to be observed on starting at dusk (no light) 9/20/2026 (sun), when the sun completely goes down and there is no light, through 9/21/2026 (mon) at dusk (no light) when the sun completely goes down and there is no light.
This is one of two Festivals, Pasaha (Passover) and Yum Kapar (Day of Atonement) that YAHUAH calls us to observe from dusk to dusk. The proper of observance of Yum Kapar (Day of Atonement) calls for us to do NO WORK during the dusk to dusk timeframe.
Uiyqara (sn- Lev) 23:26-27 (TST)
26 Then YAHUAH spoke to Mashah saying, 27 “On the tenth day of this seventh New Moon is Yum Kapar, known as the Day of Atonement. It shall be a Set-Apart Gathering for you. You shall afflict your beings, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to YAHUAH.” As the verse above says, we are to afflict our beings (deep thought and humility for the forgiveness of our sins and/or errors from the past year if we have already repented). This affliction does NOT require us to “fast” (no food) as many have been led to believe. The Abariy (Hebrew) word for “afflict” as used in the verse above is “Anah” which means “to humble or lower oneself” (the deepest humility you have all year). *Note: The Abariy (Hebrew) word for “fast” is “Tsum.” This word is NEVER used in any verse that refers to Yum Kapar (Day of Atonement).
Also, remember that even though we are to be extremely contrite, this is a FEAST, so we are to CELEBRATE with FOOD, not abstain from it. Take this time to be extremely thankful that YAHUAH came under the Name Yahusha (for 33 years) and became the Atonement for our sins. And for this we say “AhlaluYah!”

On the 8th Day is a Shabat (but you can cook) and this day is a time to reflect back on the past 7 days. The 8th day is a closing out of SAKUT. 🏕️

SAKUT REPLAY: HONORING WHAT YAHUAH REQUIRES
Join us for the replay of this powerful Sakut Set-Apart Gathering as the Promote The Truth Community comes together to honor YAHUAH according to His instructions. Through Dabariym (Deuteronomy) 16, we examine the purpose of Sakut—a time to gather, rejoice, remember the goodness of YAHUAH, and worship Him as one united people.
Dabariym 16:16 teaches that no one is to appear before YAHUAH empty-handed. Each person is instructed to bring an offering according to the favor YAHUAH has given them.
