Itโs the LAST DAY to sign up for Project Oliva's๐ฟ M1 Committee Recruitment!
As a part of our committee, not only will you be able to contribute meaningfully to the special needs community๐, you will also be able to participate in volunteering opportunities that are only available for our committee members such as helping the children at Genesis School for Special Education ๐ซ plan and execute their Christmas concert๐!

Why Oliva?
- More like why not tbh. Its the only project that targets a community that is so close to my heart and it heartens me that we always go the extra mile to reach out during COVID to a group that is so often overlooked. It doesn't hurt that the comm is also full of lovely and passionate people who i'm really happy to be around
Fav memory with the committee?
-Actually the m1 engagement session! It was touching to see juniors interested to explore causes that my comm members and I are interested in plus it was also really fun to catch up w my lovely commmates
Most memorable experience volunteering?
-Going for a walk with the MINDs Me Too Club members at Bedok resorvoir!! It was my first experience interacting with adults with special needs and it was super eye opening and they were just really cute overall HAHA

Hey everyone!
This year, Project Oliva ๐งธ๐ will be conducting a befriending programme with members of the MINDS Me Too Club (MTC) who are adults with special needs. ๐ซ
What you can expect from MTC Befriending!
๐ฟ Flexible timings - 6 outings over the span of 7 months from November to May ๐
๐ฟ Freedom to plan outings with fellow volunteers!! ๐
๐ฟ Be part of a close-knit support network for MTC members ๐ซ and learn how to better interact with adults who have special needs ๐
Do note that you will need to attend a compulsory 2h volunteer training โ๏ธ programme organised by MTC Club (date tbc). ๐
If you are worried about schedules clashing, donโt worry!! These sessions are flexible and will be organised when both the MTC club members and volunteers are free to participate!
