🔥 Friends, today several traders contacted us with the same issue — and honestly, this problem was not obvious to us at first.
We didn’t expect traders to run into this particular situation, but as we can see, it does happen.
So we decided to explain it here in the Telegram channel for everyone. This way, those of you who have experienced the same thing but haven’t contacted us yet can understand what is happening and solve the problem yourself.
📌 Here is the situation:
A trader uses the Auto-Tune button to find settings.
They put the indicator on the chart and see something like:
📊 15 trades
📈 80% win rate
And they think:
“Looks good! These are good settings. I’ll trade with them.”
Then they start trading and, during the entire day, not a single signal appears.
So they contact us:
“Why is the indicator not giving me any signals today?”
And the answer is actually very simple and logical.
👉 Scroll your chart to the left.
Look at the historical bars and check how frequently the settings you selected actually generated signals.
And this is where you may be surprised.
If your information panel shows 14 or 15 trades, for example, this means that during the entire historical period loaded on your chart — perhaps two or three months — the indicator generated only 14–15 signals.
That means the signals were generated very infrequently.
Maybe there was one signal one day, then nothing for two days. Then another signal. Then another pause.
So if you choose such settings and expect to receive several signals every single day, you are simply expecting something that these particular parameters were never designed to provide.
🔥 Want to trade every day?
Then choose a set file that actually generates signals every day.
It’s that simple.
And you don’t need any complicated analysis to check this.
Just scroll your chart to the left and look at the historical signals.
If you see signals appearing:
✅ Every day
✅ Several times per day
✅ Consistently throughout the historical period
— then you have a much more active configuration.
But if you see that signals appear very rarely and sometimes there are two or even more days without a single signal, then this set file is simply a low-frequency configuration.
That doesn't necessarily mean the settings are “bad.” It simply means they generate signals less frequently.

⚙️ How to Improve Indicator Performance in MetaTrader 4
If your indicator relies on historical data to generate signals, make sure MT4 provides enough bars for the analysis.
Follow these steps 👇
1️⃣ Increase the number of available bars
In MetaTrader 4, go to:
Tools → Options → Charts
Set:
• Max bars in history → 10,000
• Max bars in chart → 10,000
You can also use a higher value, such as 30,000, if required.
2️⃣ Match the indicator settings
Open the indicator settings and find:
Set it to the same value as in MT4.
For example:
MT4: 10,000 bars
INP_MAX_BARS: 10,000
MT4 controls how many historical bars are available on the chart, while
3️⃣ Restart MT4
After changing the settings, completely close MetaTrader 4 and restart the terminal.
4️⃣ Run AutoTune
