for my bbs taking higher chinese Os w me😍😍
(i’m sorry if this is too long oops)
i think try to secure yr 20 marks frm the 1st 2 sections by practicing! js do all the 综合填空 in yr tys & revise yr 词语 bc most of the time is like a fixed pairing for words! look out for context too!
thn for 病句改正 theres 4 types which are
• 成分残缺 (smt missing)
• 成分多余 (extra words for eg 刚好&碰巧 tgther, js dlt one)
• 搭配不当 (this is the hardest bc it requires you to think of the correct phrase/word to pair so it rly depends on ur exposure, but try to secure the marks for the others if u cnt think of anyt for this!)
• 语序不当 (u nd to change the phrasing of the phrases in the sentence)
there are 5 qns tho,, so most of the time they will test 1 skill 2 times and the other 3 once each!
for compre (w mcq)
try yr best to secure 8-10 marks for this! most of the time it’s quite easy to score bc the answers are mostly found in the passage and you can copy directly
for mcq, sometimes they will ask you to identify 说明方法 etc. so be prepared for tht :D
for a 组 & b 组 compre,
i think the qns are getting more challenging in a sense that you have to extract yr ans frm diff parts of the passage so it rly requires a holistic understanding of the passage so rly do read the qns carefully!
for qns that ask a and b 有什么异同，make sure to state the 相同 and 不同 separately
for those qns that ask to explain a short phrase (those underlined one), if the phrase doesn’t hv a subject word, make sure to state what the subject is and also look out for context :D
for those 结合经历 qns, try to give examples even if they don’t require you to! this will help the examiners to understand what ure bringing across and u also dn to write sm 道理, which makes it easier for u to score! try to understand what the whole passage is bringing across so you knw what kind of explanation and example to give! alw try to kinda fllw the storyline in the story (if ugwim)
for summary, what i do is i underline the points first and then write it out, then i count the words and dlt those unnecessary ones like 的 in some contexts
make sure you entire summary flows and makes sense like ur english one!
don’t include
- examples
- if they give both positive and negative, only incl positive
look out for which paras to extract info frm and don’t be careless!
