Efficient Algorithm for Tree Spawning on an X*Y Size Area?
Any Recommendations for title?

The only Ideas i could come up with are something like:
curTile = 0
curTile = curTile + 1 + random(0,top)
if not in radius of another tree then spawn tree at xyz

SIDEFX HOUDINI: SLINKY EFFECT, EASY?
Hi guys, I'm trying to create a basic slinky effect in Houdini where a tube moves from A to B. I can't figure out how to move it from its original position. I attached some images of my current setup.
Anybody got an idea how to tackle this, ideally without VEX?
Thanks in advance!

Image generation/storage?
I'm procedurally generating textures for objects in a game I'm working on in Unity. Does anyone have advice/experience? Given I've generated a texture in a shader, is it worth storing it to a file for future object rendering via a more traditional pipeline? Or is it likely to be preferable to just reload that generation into memory each time it's needed? If I should load it into a file does file format make a huge difference when I'm concerned with on demand time to render? Are the compressed formats of benefit or liability when comparing the extra time to store extra data vs the extra compute time to compress and extract?

AI In Video Games
Hi everyone, I've been doing some research on the use of AI in video games and it's fascinating to see how it has evolved over the years. From creating different difficulty levels and distinct movement patterns to now being used for player-experience modeling and procedural-content generation.
I'm curious to know what are the latest developments in this field?
Are there any recent games that have incorporated AI in a unique or innovative way?
Also, how do you see the future of AI in video games?
Looking forward to your insights!
