We send thoughts and prayers to the Orlando Police Department after two officers were shot Friday night. 🙏

"At approximately 11 p.m. on August 4, 2023 officers were investigating a vehicle in the area of Garland and Washington wanted for a homicide in Miami. During the stop, a suspect shot at two of our officers who are now in critical condition receiving care at ORMC. A suspect carjacked another vehicle and an authorized vehicle pursuit ensued. We are actively looking for suspects."

Chief Eric D. Smith: "This is a sad day for our police department. I want to thank all the law enforcement agencies who are assisting us. We will find these suspects and bring them to justice.”

Please pray for the Lafayette Police officers who were shot in the line of duty this morning! 🙏

Louisiana: The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 100 block of S. General Marshall St. As Officers made contact with the believed parties, shots were fired and struck two uniformed LPD Officers.

One LPD Officer was shot multiple times by the suspect and is currently in stable condition. Another LPD Officer was shot multiple times by the suspect and is also in stable condition. Both Officers were transported to a local hospital where they are receiving medical treatment.

The suspect was later taken into custody and is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital for their injuries.

Sacramento, California: At approximately 6:15 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, two suspects orchestrated the theft of an ATM machine from the Safe Credit Union on Watt Avenue in North Sacramento.

While one individual
operated a forklift, the other drove a white pickup truck. After the suspect operating the forklift knocked the ATM off of its platform, they eventually loaded it in the bed of the pickup truck.

The second suspect drove away with it; but during the course of their “getaway,” the ATM machine fell out of the truck in the middle of Watt Avenue, causing an unrelated traffic crash. Both suspects fled the scene and have yet to be identified or located.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (916) 874-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).

NEW: "A mass shooting happened in Rochester, New York on North Clinton Avenue.

Rochester Police confirm one person is dead, others wounded after being shot. There were large groups of people gathering here at this location.

There were still shots being fired while I was on scene," Geoffery Rogers reports.

Multiple people were taken in to custody.

This is Gavin Newsom’s California: Business burglaries in Sacramento have drastically increased. 

That's according to records from the Sacramento Police Department that show business burglaries have gone up by over 350% during the past seven months this year compared to all of last year.

UPDATE: The suspect involved in Tuesday’s incident was again arrested this morning for Assault with a Deadly Weapon as well as vehicle theft due to the theft of another forklift early Thursday morning. Suspect is currently in custody.

UPDATE: The suspect has been killed after shooting two police officers in Orlando, Florida.

OPD Chief said the suspect was killed after shooting SWAT members as he was barricaded inside of a hotel room near Universal Resort. The 28-year-old has a long criminal history.

There is no further danger to the public.

The officers are expected to recover.

DEVELOPING! Seal Beach, California: Multi vehicle traffic collision on the NB 405 Just south of Seal Beach Blvd, at least 1 vehicle is overturned and on its roof. Possibly as many as 4 vehicles involved.
