"My statement on the retirement of USBP Chief Raul L. Ortiz" 🔗 Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas (@SecMayorkas) Okay now can you retire next? @police_frequency
Over the past two years Chief Raul Ortiz presided over the agency charged with carrying out the most politicized mission in the country. He did a great job and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to advocate for Border Patrol agents, including the horse patrol. He was put in no-win situations by this administration and he did the best he could with the limited policies he was given. Chief Ortiz will be missed.
