#SDPD release video of #shooting amid protest, calls for transparency. Four video clips, captured by the body-worn cameras of two officers who shot Ibarra, a streetlight camera and a security camera. Two uniformed officers noticed Ibarra exiting a building and recognized him from a recent wanted flier on a robbery because of distinctive tattoos on his face, the news release said. When they attempted to contact Ibarra, he drew a firearm and pointed it at one of the officers, prompting them to fire their weapons. The department did not release the names of the two officers and said no other officers were involved. Investigators from the SDPD’s homicide unit were called to the scene, the news release said.

A video has gone viral of wild scenes when a couple pointed a pistol and an assault rifle at BLM rioters in an angry confrontation outside their huge mansion. Local media have identified the pair as Mark and Patricia McCloskey. The couple can be seen standing on the forecourt of their massive St Louis, Missouri, mansion telling protesters to get off their perfectly manicured lawns. Mrs McCloskey, whose law firm biography says she is a member of the Missouri Bar Association ethical review panel, at one point crosses the lawn and stumbles briefly while she has her gun aimed at scumbags. It is unclear whether her pistol or her husband’s semi automatic were loaded.
A Chicago man is accused of killing two teenagers at a convenience store this month after they asked how tall he was. Laroy Battle, 19, reportedly opened fire on Jasean Francis, 17, and Charles Riley, 16, in a back ally around 5 p.m. on June 20 after they and a friend walked home from buying candy at the store -- following a brief encounter with the suspect. Francis was shot in the back, chest and left hand, while Riley was shot in the back and left leg. Both were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where they were pronounced dead. The third teenager was not struck. Battle was arrested after members of the community identified surveillance video of the suspect that had been released by police. "To the community members who stepped forward with information - thank you. Detectives were able to quickly identify Battle, but it was the help we received from the community that led to his arrest," Chicago Police wrote on Twitter.
